Advice Need experiences/advice
Soooo thanks to some major issues with my insurance, I am not able to get my usual infusion of Ocrevus that I've been on for 8 years or so that has been working really well with no side effects.
In the meantime, my neurologist wants me to take Kesimpta to avoid a relapse. I have had MS for 20+ years and have taken many DMT's over the years but I have never had to give myself a shot in any way.
Because I'm off schedule, I haven't been medicated since my last dose of Ocrevus wore off and my next infusion was supposed to be in June. I'm definitely feeling it and it's not fun.
Tell me your experiences with Kesimpta, any tips, tricks, things you've learned, little known things etc. I'm super new at this 'injecting myself' thing and I need all the help I can get.
I feel like it's akin to convincing myself to punch myself in the face with a brick...anxiety š£
Thank you ā¤ļø

Just so you know itās auto-inject, you choose a spot according to the guidelines and press a button. Thereās no training or skill involved and you donāt have the insert the needle into the skin or anything like that.
I donāt use K so Iām afraid I canāt help with specifics. But when people are picturing āgive yourself a shotā theyāre usually picturing inserting a needle and manually depressing a plunger and so on.
