HWUD Mechanical Engineering Student

I’m currently a student at Heriot-Watt University Dubai who plans on taking mechanical engineering following my ADEP. I hope to use HW’s Go Global programme to do some internships or fresh graduate jobs around Edinburgh to gain some experience before moving back to Dubai, and was wondering how is the job market like for engineers?
