Trying to decide if I should I trim down the sides to a more traditional classic Chevron and shave off the soul patch or leave it as is.

I’m looking for tips on my mustache. I am torn between letting it continue to grow and brushing to the side, or brushing down and trimming it into like a chevron style.

I worry with the chevron that my mustache isn’t thick/dark enough. I have vitiligo which causes a lot of lighter/transparent hairs, which I believe contributes to this.

I believe ideally a chevron will cover most of the upper lip, but because of the translucent hairs I mentioned above, you can see my upper lip right through the hairs.

What do yall think?

I’m trying to let the middle grow and train it outwards to make the whole thing bigger. I’ve used a variety of wax, but often just wash it and let it be. I like clubman because it goes on smoothly then dries to hold shape. Recommendations on grooming, trimming gladly accepted.

I want to grow a handlebar mustache, a badass kinda looks. And i really don't know what I'm doing wrong. The picture have my current mustache, it's been like this always.

Hey, been growing my mustache since May 2025 and it hasn’t grown even at all. No shaving, except length to avoid it going in my mouth. Should I just shave it and accept no mustache? Thanks!

I've been growing my mustache and I'm going for a classic chevron. I trimmed the bottom edge with mustache scissors, leaving a few millimeters of space above where my lips meet, but somehow it still doesn't quite look like a chevron to me.

Am I trimming it too high, or does it just need more length and density? Should I let it grow over my upper lip a bit more?

Would love to hear what you mustachioed gentlemen think. Any tips are appreciated!
