I figured this sub would appreciate a few throwbacks I came across

I saw videos a few months ago with the spinning cat as their show intro. Are they doing that this tour?

Trying to sell an extra ticket to apocalypse fest is philadelphia on Halloween. Willing to meet local in nepa. Message me

Willing to pay over face value and you can keep the merch. I just really want the early entry.

This will be my first MIW in the pit we are driving 7 hours from Ohio. I know I will have fun weather I get early entry or not but it would be a lot less stressful🙂

This is purely my opinion and I'm sure there will be disagreements. Also, MIW is my #1 favorite band, but that doesn't mean I don't have criticisms. Additionally, it's *their* music, *their* art, and my opinion doesn't matter- but I'm gonna share anyway.

Decades could've been my favorite album...if not for those **weird ass EDM breakdowns.** I get it- they wanted to experiment and do something new and different with this new album. Something that sets it apart from the rest of their discography. But in my brutally honest opinion, it just doesn't work.

The worst part is, I forget the EDM breakdowns exist, so whenever they come up in a song I get slightly jumpscared. For example, Count Back From Zero could've been 10/10 but they fumbled it. It was going so well, until the breakdown towards the end, and then it's just cringe. The worst one is the song where he says "drop it" and then the EDM breakdown hits (I don't remember if that's CBFZ or a different song).

I don't even mind EDM as a component of their music. For example in Afraid of the Dark I'm a big fan of that synth melody (or whatever it's called, I'm not very educated in music). And I adore their more pop-y songs like Werewolf, Love At First Bite, the Sunglasses At Night cover, etc. When electronic and pop components are incorporated like that, it's very pleasant. For some reason I can't fully articulate, when it's a full-on breakdown of just EDM, I can't get behind it.

That's my one and only problem with this album. It's not their job to make me happy though. Just wanted to say something since the album is coming up on 3 months, and see how popular or unpopular this opinion is.

Saw CupcakKe last night in Orlando and I was taking SEVERAL glances at this fellow with his buddy who was wearing a mostly B&W shirt that said "Motionless In White" at the top and I think "Trick-or-Treat" at the bottom. I felt like such a creep but was too busy doing... what you normally would at a CupcakKe concert. Tried finding them after the show.

Hope to see him at MiW's Orlando date, really cool that MiW fans appear even at smaller shows like CupcakKe. It was a really small show, too, like easily sub-1000 cap venue, which used to be a movie theater.

I eventually want to get some tattoos that go along with some of my favorite MIW songs but I’m having a really hard time coming up with ideas for these specific songs like how would I get a tattoo for catharsis, hollow points, masterpiece, or afraid of the dark? The only song I have an idea for is undead ahead 2 and that’s pretty much just the headless horseman himself with maybe a couple of my favorite lines tied in, but like if I want representation for these songs that aren’t just the words how on earth am I supposed to do that lol?

Compared to my other favorite band, I feel like it’s not as easy to symbolise their music. I could probably think of about 100 different ways to symbolise Sleep Token but Motionless is much harder to evoke imo.

Anyone planning to go in costume?

Looking to see if anyone has floor apocalypse fest tix that they no longer need and won’t charge me an arm and a leg !

On this day (October 12th) Motionless In White released their debut record “Creatures” and it’s really good. It’s not their best (imo) but it has some solid songs in there like Undead Ahead, Puppets, and of course Abigail but my personal favorite is definitely one I think is underrated and I believe Chris at one point said that this was their most underrated song and that is… Sciossorhand (the last snow). I will definitely listen to this album today to celebrate. What’s your favorite song off creatures and what did you think about this album?

Also on a side note could someone explain to me the snow thing they had going on with puppets 1 and scissorhands I don’t rlly understand it

What songs come to mind, when you see this title?

Jealous of anyone going 😎 tore my calf at LTL and money wise couldn't make it and can’t make furnace tomorrow either I’m bummed

anyways curious if tonights setlist they may go heavier like a break from the bmth arena shows, it’s a club venue, openers r heavy esp thrown. And tomorrow furnace fest is known for more hardcore music than metalcore. anyways whoever’s going enjoy, wish I could be there

Does anybody have an extra ticket for tonight's show?

I got tickets to go to Apocalypse Fest on halloween and need some ideas on what to dress up as!

I normally don't dress up for halloween since I don't love the holiday, but I figure I should give it a shot for the concert.

Any ideas welcome!

$200 OBO. Had to evacuate due to hurricane.

I’ve been following along this sub for a while and I keep seeing complaints with the online store having delays or merch not showing up at all. I wanted to get a bunch of stuff from it but I’m hesitant if I’m going to be waiting to the point where I can just get what I want from the concert I’m seeing them at. Any suggestions or if it’s not as bad as it seems and maybe I was only reading a few bad reviews out of the good ones? I’m going to see them in a month so I can wait if I have to but I wanted to have shirts to wear about like now haha

TLDR: concert is next month but I want shirts to wear around. Do I wait or can I trust the store?

Edit: Problem solved, don’t buy from the online store unless I want to wait for GTA 7 to release before my stuff arrives. Thank you for the replies!

How early do you think people will start lining up for GA? I wasn’t able to get VIP as it sold out and I want to be as close as possible to barricade so I really want to be one of the first few people in line.

I know the venue usually announces policies for how early you’re allowed to start lining up but I know people don’t usually follow those rules and line up earlier.

Traveling from Washington State for this show alone, kind of nervous because I’ve never been to Philly. I’m literally flying in, getting a Lyft to the venue & then back to the airport to fly back the next morning.
What should I expect from the venue? Are they strict on what you can bring in? How early does everyone plan on lining up? My flight gets in around 5:30am so I may try to kill time around the area. Hoping to make some friends too! I’m just a 30 year old girl 😅 But I’m so excited!!!! Don’t plan on dressing up for Halloween though as I want to be comfortable!

ETA: SOLD!

Hey folks! I've got 2 tickets to Apocalypse Fest on Halloween. First row in Section 102, so they are seated tickets with a GREAT view. Comes with parking, too.

My wife and I were planning on making a trip out of it, but the logistics aren't working out in our favor so just looking to have someone else enjoy the show for us.

Paid nearly $400 all in, but willing to drop the total price to $300. Can transfer via Ticketmaster/LiveNation, and happy to send proof via DM.

Whatsup guys!

I just done a video about the rise of MIW over the last couple of years especially.

I’m only relatively new to the band myself after seeing them live this year, I can’t stop listening to them.

Cheers all!

Setlist

Anybody have an idea of the setlist? Assuming it’s the 19 song version because they are the headliner.

If MASTERPIECE isn’t on there I’m going to be upset lol.

I recently found this unidentified song, and the clean singer instantly rang a bell for me as to sounding extremely similar to Chris. It's not the first time I've seen an obscure/rare Motionless In White track accidentally being tagged as "Lostwave" or "Lost Media", as I've seen this happen before with another one of their rare tracks "Santa's Pissed". Is this him singing on cleans, or is it just someone extremely similar sounding?
