It's insane how I went to checkout, clicked on pay now, the site never even reloaded to pay and then - after being stuck on that screen for multiple minutes - her being sold out. What is this bs???

i think its ridiculous that a doll theyre claiming is a "preorder to gauge demand" can be SOLD OUT. shes a PREORDER! why did they say she would be made to order demand levels based on preorders and then have her set to SELL OUT at a certain point? they fumbled this BAD. they know draculaura is their big hitter and didnt plan for this much interest? at this point its just bad business decisions to not make ALL dracs preorder to gauge how many they need to make. theyll sell SO MANY MORE that way. and it spares us all the headache of these scalpers who set up bots, buy 50, and list them for 10x their retail price for dolls they arent even going to be receiving until NEXT YEAR.

So sad. Paid for fang club and wasn't able to get her today OR yesterday because it put me in a queue. Definitely put me off skullectors. Only wanted one.

Iām floored. I went on to Mattel all nonchalant thinking itās a pre-order I got plenty of time. I was able to get her with just 2 tries but I didnāt think the pre-order would sell out in minutes! Like I canāt believe it. And I put 2 in my cart on accident. Then took one out And the order went through.
I was like ok easy we all should be able to grab one. I just came here to check who else was getting her and hear sheās sold! Im Stunned. If Iād known this before hand I wouldāve been frantic trying to grab one. So sorry to those who tried so hard to get her. I really thought the pre-order meant there would be plenty for those who wanted her.

I got all the way to the pay screen and āpaidā then it immediately said out of stock. I didnāt get her. It was literally 2 minutes after the drop.

Tried to get her yesterday and today for my best friend's daughter (TO NO AVAIL...) and same thing happened both times. In cart within a minute of release, correct captcha 3x, then hit pay by 10:02a and it gave me errors each time until about 5 mins after it started pulling Drac out of the cart.

It's a pre-order for a popular character...How could they make the pre-order window so short? They can literally be making BANK. I was lucky to secure one but it's not fair in general

Iām DONE with Mattel. Canāt stand manipulation. EFF them. I know they donāt care about us and they wonāt miss my few measly dollars, but itās the principle. Iāll just have to enjoy and appreciate dolls I already have.

I was luckily able to buy her, but itās absolutely insane that she sold out so quickly especially since itās a preorder. I donāt understand why Mattel canāt just make enough stock for everyone who wants one to get one, itās absurd

I was pissed yesterday and upset today. I didnāt get her yesterday but today I snagged 1. Iām really upset that my check out wasnāt the best and see everyone experienced this twice. I had to input Authenticator code twice! I legit was abouta cry again thinking it didnāt work and I pressed pay now 4 times. And I actually managed. Iām really sorry š some didnāt get her but selling out under 6 mins or less is INSANE!!

I had to do the captcha thing 3 times and also during checkout I clicked the mattel logo by accident and got taken to the home screen. I am GENUINELY. Distraught abt the fact I got 2 š

I was refreshing at 5 but she NEVER went in stock for me.. assumed they didn't do it dead on to avoid the site crashing or something but apparently I'm just super unlucky :(
