Key Features
Primary RGB Tandem 2.0
Primary RGB Tandem is a device technology that replaces the three-layer structure of the existing OLED device — Blue, Yellow, Blue — by splitting the Yellow layer into Green and Blue, thereby stacking pure Red, Green, and Blue into four independent layers. This enhances brightness and color gamut while improving power efficiency. After the launch of Primary RGB Tandem 1.0 in 2025, Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 was introduced in 2026, featuring a refined device structure and driving algorithms for even greater performance.
A true RGB Stripe subpixel layout means sharper text and more accurate color. Paired with a 140 PPI UHD resolution, every icon, line of text, and fine detail renders with exceptional clarity. It goes beyond conventional gaming monitor boundaries, making it equally viable for office and professional applications.
Unparalleled HDR & Enriched Color Depth
True Black 400 certification, up to 1000nits of peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and 10-bit color combine to create HDR that's both punchy and accurate.
Perfect Visual Experience in Any Environment
Powered by ultra-low reflection technology, Tandem WOLED achieves an industry-leading reflectance of just 1.1%, maintaining exceptional picture quality — with no black blooming and no color fading — even in bright environments.
Dual Mode & Fastest Response Time
Dual Mode lets you switch between 4K at 240Hz for detail-heavy work or FHD at 480Hz when you need max frame rate. 0.03ms G2G response time — 100 times faster than LCD panels — makes every frame razor-sharp in fast-paced FPS gaming.
Human Friendly
Certified Eyesafe by minimizing blue light in both circadian-disrupting and eye-harmful ranges. A glare-free, immersion-first display that keeps your eyes comfortable for extended play.

With the holidays just around the corner we wanted to do an AUA so you can be sure about what you're buying!
If you're on the fence about an expensive OLED, comparing two monitors but not sure which one wins out, or even just want to know more about how monitors work, don't hesitate to ask.
We buy and test everything ourselves without sponsorships or free review units, so everything is verified independently. We have a team of writers, testers, and researchers who are constantly looking to improve how we measure results, so you can be confident in our findings!
Coming from a pretty great mini-led HDR monitor KTC M27T20, I made the switch to this TCL as I wanted something bigger for both media consumption/gaming as well as for work related stuff. I already got my hands on an Alienware 34 Ips panel but for the life of me I couldn't switch back to an Edge lit monitor ever again...and OLEDS....I just refuse to get one for my Desktop/Gaming PC(mind you I already have 2 LG Oleds 55 and 65" so I'm not really illiterate when it comes to displays and quality).
I've talked and helped a few guys here get the new firmware for the KTC monitor and you can easily find my discussions on this topic, so here I will shortly sum-up the experience with this monitor:
Was it worth the buy: In the first day of testing, I almost returned it to the shop. Everything about the image quality was underwhelming when compared with the KTC monitor(also VA panel).HDR brightness was low, even with the calibration and all that good stuff. The reason?...MPRT+ option, which is their implementation of black frame insertion was on the highest setting and this just destroys the screen brightness levels. Turning this to off is what made me keep this monitor and actually be stunned by its quality.
Specs:
HVA panel
1200nits(declared)
1188zones
200hz
1500R curve/Tmoc/Freesync Premium/Gsync Compatibile
Pros:
- The colors just look great out of the box.
- It actually handles 200hz with local dimming on max level
- Amazing HDR presentation(With MPRT+ off)
- Really love the illuminated logo at the bottom...I find it really nice,
- Great build quality although admittedly I don't use the monitor stand, instead having it on a VESA mount
Cons:
- cant get 10bit with more than 144hz on DP1.4
- The HDMI2.1 is limited to native at 100hz(on a 9070XT card) - I need to investigate further
- Looks as if it has ambient lights on the back, but for the life of me ...can't seem to find anything related to that
- No actual reviews out there.
If you have any questions...lmk and I'll try to answer as fast as possible.
Price: 600EUR MSRP(got it for 420EUR with on site voucher)
It’s a little dusty and screen looks good just has some residue, looked like they tried wiping it.
Not sure if I looked up the right model but that’s what I found. What are yalls thoughts on this monitor? Upgrading from a dell desktop monitor so much better than what I had haha.
Any wall stand or arm mounts yall recommend?
I also don’t believe those razer stickers belong there haha
I tried searching for opinions on this monitor outside of Amazon but all I could find were about a different version (XV275U?). Wondering if anybody has THIS one instead and can share their experience.
Acer Nitro MG275U X2biippx
I'm looking for a 1440p IPS monitor for gaming and WFH. I'm avoiding OLED because of price and use case.
Do you guys experience more eye fatigue when using an OLED monitor, especially when gaming?
So I have a ROG SWIFT PG278Q which I absolutely love but unfortunately after years of heavy use he has developed some dead pixels and strong flickering (it goes away when changing refresh rate but only for a couple of minutes).
That’s why I bought a Samsung Odyssey G60SD. I can work on it normally, text actually looks quite decent, but when I play just one hour of Counter Strike, my eyes feel really strained.
Maybe it’s just from adjusting to a new monitor (keep in mind I’ve tried my best to make it look just like my old one, sorry oled fans no true blacks for me)
I’d be very interested in your experiences!
(Especially if you suffer from migraines, I do but I’ve never found screen usage of any kind to be a trigger)
If anyone knows of any possible fixes for my old monitor, please tell me.
Been meaning to buy an oled gaming moniter for a long time but the specs im looking at wont come out till 2027 or even 2028. I currently have a 120hertz ips panel from 8 years ago.
I want a moniter that is first of all cheap, idealy oled to be a placeholder, I play mainly competitve games and once in a while play triple A titles. Has to also havs 200+ hertz.
For two nights in a row, the monitor simply turned off—once each night—for about 5–10 seconds. It didn’t respond when I pressed the joystick, nor did it react when I waved my hands in front of it or moved it around. When the image finally reappeared, the ROG logo (which usually shows up upon startup) did not display. Throughout this, the power indicator remained a steady, non-flashing red.
I'm looking for some advice. Frankly I'm not super knowledgeable about monitors so I'm a little lost on what I should go for, I have done my own research but honestly I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the info so I'd appreciate some clarity.
I think for my uses I'd like to upgrade to a Mini LED, as a good OLED is out of my budget and wouldn't work so great for my purposes - I mainly do a mix of productivity and gaming, and occasionally watching films and making art. My budget isn't huge, I have been looking at some monitors around the £350 mark but if possible I'd prefer to spend less (idk if that's realistic though).
My current monitor is the ASUS 28" TUF GAMING VG289Q IPS 4K monitor. I want to upgrade because I want a higher refresh rate (currently only 60Hz) and it feels a little too big, I think I'd rather have at most a 27". I'm considering making this my 2nd monitor after I upgrade.
For clarity I have an RTX 4070 Super.
So my questions are:
What resolution should I be going for? Is it worth sacrificing 4K for 2K/1440p and a higher refresh rate? Is there much of a noticeable difference in resolution to justify the price jump?
Is Mini LED the best option for my purposes/budget or should I consider saving up for OLED?
Some 4K Mini LED monitors I've been looking at are KTC M27P6 27", AOC U27G4XM 27", so if you have thoughts on those or some other suggestions I'd like to hear it. If you have suggestions for lower resolution if applicable I'm open to those too. I like the aesthetics of the KTC most.
Is there any benefits to having a smaller monitor resolution-wise? Say 24" vs 27"?
Thanks in advance for helping out a monitor noob !
Long ago two stripes barely visible appeared in similar place, i disassembled back plate, hot put in/out cord that connects internal board with monitor itself, it didnt give me much result. For like hal a year i lived with those two stripes
Today i decided to clean monitor a bit from rubbish and new stipes appeared. After like 2h of trying to put off back cover, i got to that cord, cleaned it with isopropyl l, but it didnt change stuff ngl.
The more it works rn the more stripes appear, i mean what even is this? Monitor is LG 24MK600M
I bought this ASD at a price of €1050 (Italy) from a certified reconditioned company. This is a 2022 model. I know the value of an ASD, but I wonder if these black screen reflections are still worth the price.
They are only visible on a black background, at high brightness. It's not a drama, but I wonder if it's normal. At work I have a 2017 iMac, always 5k, and it's in perfect condition
Hi, I'm upgrading my desk setup to look more cozy and cool ( yeah that pinterest stuff you see around sometimes, something like that but with my own touch ). I already upgraded my pc but now it's time for the monitor.
Rn I have a MSI Optix G242 from at least 4 years ago, it still works but I think it's time for it to rest.
I have two ideas:
- two monitors ( keeping the G242 till it dies along with a new monitor OLED or QLED. I'm not well informed on the differences on the oled terminology but I'll fix that after I see some of your suggestions )
- one curved monitor ( the problem here is that I dont really like curved monitors esthetically.. I really dont know why and maybe I'm the only one on this XD )
Ps: for the dimension I would really like it more than 27'' I feel like the G242 became super small in my new desk
If its possible I would like to not spend much money ofc but recommend me whatever you want!
I received this product for free from LG as part of anevent. While I was asked to share my review, all opinions are entirely my own.
Cyberpunk with RenoDX
Let me start off by saying this monitor is amazing. Coming from a Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 (32”), I couldn’t believe how much more immersive games could be. This is one of those things where you don’t know what you’re missing until you try it. I genuinely cannot go back to a non-ultrawide or non-OLED monitor. I’ve used both glossy and matte monitors, and yeah, this is definitely one of the better matte coatings I’ve tried. I use it in a room with a window right behind me, and it handles reflections so well that I’m honestly impressed. I hadn’t even considered that the window could be a problem because reflections are so unnoticeable on the screen.
Honestly, the games that wowed me the most would have to be Resident Evil Requiem (with the RenoDX mod), Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and Backrooms: Escape Together. To really make the most of this monitor for gaming, or any HDR monitor really, please use RenoDX HDR mods. Personally, I use a tool called RHI, which lets me install ReShade and RenoDX with just a few clicks.
Having said that, RE Requiem with RenoDX and the Artificial Light Disable mod has made me fall in love with the UltraGear evo 39GX950B. It’s so mesmerizing being in a pitch-black room and seeing the highlights from emergency lights in the corners or watching how the flashlight’s light bounces off surfaces and contrasts with the darkness.
There are so many games with somewhat meh visuals that the colors, HDR, brightness, etc. of this monitor kinda brute-force their way into making them worth admiring. Take a game like PEAK, for example. It’s not an ugly game, and it certainly has an aesthetically pleasing art style, but throw some RTX HDR in there and wow, the HDR and ultrawide combination genuinely makes the experience ten times better. Never in my life would I have thought I’d be genuinely impressed by a sunset in PEAK.
I did notice that the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 was overall brighter in daytime scenes, but when it comes to small highlights, like nighttime in Cyberpunk with all the neon signs and whatnot, this monitor fares much better. Honestly, it’s 100% worth the tradeoff.
I pretty much always have it in HDR mode, and these are the settings that have worked best for me:
Monitor settings:
Gamer 2
Adaptive Sync: On
Black Stabilizer: 55
Brightness: 100
Brightness Level: High
Sharpness: 70
Color Temp: Manual (C1)
All AI features: Off
NVIDIA APP settings:
G-SYNC: On (Fullscreen)
Color: NVIDIA
Color Depth: 10 bpc
Dynamic Range: Full
On Graphics Global settings, please cap your FPS to 158 and turn V-Sync On (and in games turnoff the in-game v-sync while keeping the nvidia app v-sync on.)
Now, to address the elephant in the room: performance. You do not need an RTX 5090 to run this beast of a monitor, obviously. For reference, these are my specs:
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32GB
I personally like to play at max settings, so if you’re willing to play at high or even medium settings, you can get by with a much lower-tier card.
Get used to using DLSS Performance because it looks really, really good, and the performance boost is very much needed. DLSS Performance looks better on a 5K2K monitor than it does on a 1440p or 1080p monitor, obviously. In fact, for some of the heavier path-traced games, I use custom DLSS resolutions through the NVIDIA App.
For example, in RE Requiem, I use 43%, and it still looks great. Get used to frame generation as well. I personally only use 2X, never more than that, and the artifacts and added latency are very unnoticeable if you have at least 60 FPS as a base.
For reference, in RE Requiem with max settings and path tracing enabled, I averaged around 95 FPS throughout my playthrough. This same performance constraint would be one of my main drawbacks to be honest, while I can manage it now by using the methods listed above, I fear for future releases where games will be heavier to run, I’ll have to play around with settings much more.
As for work, it’s a godsend having this much space to multitask, I code, run multiple Virtual Machines at once, text clarity is very good and sharp :)
I woke up this morning to my monitor doing this. restarting the monitor from the menu, or unplugging it an plugging it back in brings the brightness back momentarily, but the dark line quickly returns. Is this just a dying backlight, or is there some setting, or factory reset I can do to fix it?
