Every time I want to play I have to manually delete the game's shader cache from its folder first . Otherwise the game crashes. This means the shaders have to be rebuilt every time I launch the game.

I'm playing on Battle net with only Multiplayer and DMZ installed. The game is installed on an SSD.

RTX 3060 6GB

i7 12700H

Windows 11 25H2

I'm also getting blocky/pixelated shadows in game. I've tried several fixes and Nvidia Control panel changes to fix this but nothing has worked so far. I'm currently using driver version 595.71.

Any fix for either ?

If you're playing without these weird Pixelated shadows I'd appreciate it if you could share your specs and GPU driver version.

I’m pretty new to COD in general, recently starting the MW series after grabbing the 2019 version as well as MWII from a flea market. Currently trying to install the PS5 disc version of MWII, first problem was it showed me a complete different game and tried to get me to download that different version.

Figured out this seems to be a recurring problem so I downloaded MWII DMZ from the PS store for free after reading through posts. Now I’m trying to start the campaign and it just kicks me out all the time after the status screen not changing at all so I pressed x.
Am I doing something wrong? Also downloaded the campaign DLC, game also shows it being downloaded, but can’t start the campaign.

Also English isn’t my first language and I’m not very familiar with gaming terms. The games I’ve played on PS for years were just… putting the disc in or buying from PS store, download the game, start playing. With COD and all the different DLC, I think it’s just a bit confusing.

So basically i normally open up MW2 go to campaign but as soon as i try to open up the settings menu my game temporarily freezes untill i hit the ESC button... Right now i am at the point where i cant play the story cause of one unassigned key... Please help

Im playing the campaign and reached the mission “hardpoint” in this mission you have to fire flares at some point but it shows ??? As the input, i tried changing and resetting the bind multiple times, even restarted the entire game after changing it and it keeps showing the ???. Has anyone else come across this issue, or know a fix?

This hasn't happened before. Even after a full reinstall of the game, i'll be playing and out of nowhere my ENTIRE PC will freeze. My Elite Series 2 controller will even lose it's wireless connection, all my monitors will freeze, and I can't go into task manager do the gpu refresh shortcut on my keyboard. Nothing works, I literally have to hold the power button on my pc tower.

I always thought gunfight was decent on this game even though the movement is slow. I vastly prefer MW 2019 and Bo7 gunfight but I still return to this game every now and again because there's always people on 2v2 gunfight and i love hot mics like you can hear in this clip.

I like how they re-made king from mw 2019 gunfight and added a bunch of foliage. My favorite gunfight map on this game is probably blacksite though if im being real

What do you guys think of gunfight on this game?

I redownloaded using my disk (ps5) and it downloaded the hq and all the content packs, then it told me I need the standalone launcher, and now if I try to boot the campaign I get stuck on launching and if I’m offline it tells me I’ve got the ps4 cross gen version and I need a disk (which is in the console)
I’ve tried to restore license but it didn’t change anything. Has anyone got any advice here please

The Juggernaut on Shipment is INSANE.

I’ve had this game for years, I just redownloaded it and now it’s telling me I haven’t purchased it? Is this just a bug? If so can someone tell me how to fix it… How would I even be a level 145 if I don’t own the game, Let alone download it, I’m so confused. The only thing I can play is DMZ

The only reason DMZ was so popular was because of that. Sometimes you could get a truce and run a 9 man lol. Nowdays its insane do even get the 7 man chopper challenge. If another extraction shooter allows for full team join ups I could see it exceding the new DMZ.

The final killcam didn't show it, but his cape was showing through the wall. I tried to wallbang but couldn't hit or punch through the wall lol I do not blame him for the hackusation

Never bothered to buy the game but as it is included in Game Pass and I did MW1 I decided to give it a go.

I stopped playing to write this rant after I have seen so much ridiculous things in the campaign.

-enemies spawning and disappearing in front of me

-entire campaign level where AI literally didnt make a single kill

-enemies run kamikaze style to your position passing 3 of your comrades, they dont even look at them go straight to you, comrades shoot at least 15 bullets at the enemy, don't seem to impact him at all.

-Sitting behing a guy in the same spot 3 times, 3x rpg on our position, I die, see him walking like nothing happened before restarting the checkpoint.

-a guy doing a 360 rpg without aiming straight in my fact from at least 50 m distance.

-did the Amsterdam mission no one even knew I was there, took them all out, no achievement, went back to do the same thing, following a guide video, no one saw me or dounded the alarm nor did Price say anything. No achievement.

How come that CoD games from 2008/2009 were so much more stable? Even TES games and Cyberpunk have more stable AI.... it just pisses me off really.....

Am I missing something?! I tried to look this up i understand sbmm but what the f-!!! I get into a lobby and everyone on the opposing team is level 1250 and I mean absolutely everyone! they all have insane score streaks / are spawn camping am I missing something? Is it hackers? Am I bad at the game? Is it cross play, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! It’s to the point i just asked myself why am I playing?

Good lord Violence and Timing is complete dookie. Story goes full on incoherent at this point as well. This mission and the prior one with Laswel getting caught at the end were the lowest point in the game for me.

So I recently decided to get back into MWII, it was always one of my favorite CODs of the recent era and It also released in a pretty awesome, nostalgic time in my life So i wanted to take a trip down memory lane. sadly, every map in the rotation is a DLC map that I've never even played, apparently?? Ive been playing for about 2 days and the only maps that have consistently come up in Search and Cyber Attack are new DLC maps, Ive played a core launch map MAYBE twice, but it feels like the map pool is OVERWHELMINGLY skewed towards DLC maps and it is annoying the hell out of me

Everytime I launch the campaign it just glitches out (video attached) if I try to launch the game offline and select a mission to reply it asks me to insert a PS4 disc of the game even tho i bought the PS5 digital version... not sure what to do..

I've gone through a couple of posts on reddit about the same issue. Tried every step.. still there's no fix. I've tried contacting activision and they had my ticket opened for a whole danm month and then closed it.. Please y'all I need a real fix :((
