Is anyone else waiting on a VIN for a marine blue / white RWD? I ordered on 9/23 and my dates just got pushed today. Located in GA. I’ve seen multiple people who ordered the same car after me already getting a VIN. Very frustrating

Ordered back on 9/15, original edd was 10/13-11/15, checked the app several times a day like it owed me money, kept seeing posts about others getting their VINs, no luck for me. Last time I checked the app was 10/13 - edd got pushed to 10/30-11/30 and I told myself I won’t check the app again. Got a message this morning to schedule my delivery. Feels surreal. Wife and kids don’t know.

Hi everyone! I'm about to replace my Seat Ibiza, and I've decided to switch to an electric car.

I've found this listing for a 2023 Tesla Model Y with 37000 km at a good price (€38,000 in Italy). It's an AWD Dual Motor Long Range, and from what I can tell, it also seems to have Level 3 Autopilot (it's shown in a screenshot of the interior display).

Considering that a brand-new base Model Y Standard costs around €42,000, what do you think of this listing?

I'm not very knowledgeable about Teslas, apart from having test-driven one at a Tesla center, so I'd appreciate any advice!

Placed my order on 10/9 for RWD. Saw some people getting their vin much faster when they order the AWD. Changed it the following day and got my vin today! Also had a trade in being processed. As soon as I got my vin, the offer from tesla came in. Ive also applied and got the 1.9% promo the day i placed my order. Then the delivery window opened up for next week already. All of this just happened in a matter of an hour. Props to tesla!

As I impatiently wait for my MYP, I have a lease ending 12/20 on my current 2025 Model Y AWD.

The Tesla trade in offer for it marches my buy out, so I was going to just trade it and they take care of lease (avoids any turn in charges). Around $34,500.

But, as there is little inventory out there, should I buy it and private sell it instead? Carvana is offering $35,600, but $1,000 isn't worth the hassle for me.

The car has about 18,000 miles and is in perfect condition with tinted windows, mud flaps, usual internal accessories, and a rear spoiler in Quicksilver with black interior.

Convenience is key for me, but if I can make $3k or more and someone gets a good deal, Im all for that.

Just got the Halloween update today, whoop!, but was wondering if yall are keeping trick or treat mode on constantly? seems a bit annoying for neighbors/everyday use. not too worried about battery drain for my situation and setup. For context, I live on a somewhat busy city street townhome and my car is right where a lot of people walk by for a restaurant. overall seems like a fun gimmick when actual trick or treating is happening but otherwise not much use? Let me know thoughts….

Does Tesla use your driving record to quote you for insurance like other insurance companies do? How do they calculate your quote? I’m in California and they quoted me $255 a month, meanwhile progressive quoted me $700

I recently sold my Ranger Raptor and got myself a 2025 Model Y Juniper (Berlin-built), and honestly, what an awesome car to drive!

I absolutely love it. It’s agile, powerful, and somehow doesn’t feel its weight at all. I think the double-wishbone front suspension helps a lot. And the Quicksilver color looks fantastic!

Anyway, I have a quick question.
I recently noticed a small chip on the edge of the left taillight, and I’m puzzled about how it could have happened.

There’s no visible sign of impact anywhere around it. And I can’t recall anything.

The only thing I can think of, although I have no idea if it’s related, is that the night before I noticed it, I was introducing the new car to my parents and ran the Light Show. Check the video I took the day I purchased the car it wasnt there thats why im asking .

I’ve come across a couple of similar posts on this subreddit , which was covered by warranty. has anyone here experienced this?

Im not to get my mistake get fixed under warranty, and its not a big damage I know just curious.

My Model Y Juniper is only 2 weeks old and a few days ago it started making a noticeable buzzing/whirring noise from the temperature sensor area.

It sounds like a small fan spinning, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't making this noise when the car was new. I've checked it carefully and the noise is definitely coming from the fan around the interior temperature sensor.

Has anyone else had this happen? Did you manage to fix it somehow, or did Tesla have to replace the fan/sensor?

Just wondering if there's something simple I can try before booking a service appointment.

I ordered Sep 21, and so far nothing. A friend of mine ordered MYP in black maybe 2 weeks before and got it almost a week later.

Does this tight of a window mean anything? It moved from January to this. I’d assume it’s for a reason?

I'm buying a used Model Y 2026 from a private seller, and we agreed on $41,500. He still owes around $39k on his Tesla loan, which he showed me in the app.

I'm paying cash, so the idea is to pay off the $39k loan and give him the remaining $2,500. Just not sure how to go about this safely since neither of us has done this before.

We looked into KeySavvy, but they said they couldn't handle the transaction for us.

Has anyone dealt with something similar?

Can I just pay Tesla directly to clear his loan and pay him the difference? How does the title transfer work if Tesla still has a lien on the car? And would I be able to take the car home the same day, or do I have to wait until the title is released?

Also curious how you guys handled payment, temporary tags, and transferring ownership in the Tesla app.

Would appreciate any advice from someone who's been through this. Thanks!

304 miles range in my 2021 RWD Y. Tesla shop said it is the same size battery but range went from 180 miles at 100 percent charge to 304 miles of range. This is what is listed on the invoice.

Hey everyone! I’m trying decide between the Y premium AWD or RWD in white or quick silver? Would love to hear everyone’s opinion!

About 10 days ago, my Tesla showed a camera alignment warning, and FSD stopped working for about four hours. Then everything returned to normal.
Since then, I’ve driven over 600 miles on long trips and taken about 20 local trips. FSD has worked perfectly with no issues.
Tesla recommended service, so I scheduled an appointment. To my shock, they sent me a $3,000 estimate just in case the FSD computer needed replacing!
I explained several times that everything was working fine and asked them to revise the estimate, but they insisted I approve it. I wasn’t comfortable signing off on a $3,000 repair for a problem that no longer exists, so I canceled.
Very disappointed with Tesla Service. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I thought Tesla’s purchasing experience was supposed to be easy and seamless. However I’m starting to realize maybe it’s just hype?

Tesla just wanted our $250 deposit and doesn’t care if we get fu**ed over. Just look at financing. After placing the order, my advisor basically told me I had to finance then and there. Fine, no problem. I got approved for the promotional offer within seconds.

However the part that pisses me off is the delay. I’ve been waiting for almost 30 days, and that means now my TD bank application is set to expire. So I have to have another hard pull on my credit report. I asked a Tesla advisor and they said the promotional offer is not guaranteed when re-applying for the application. WTF?!?! Why am I getting penalized for Teslas incompetency?

Before I was so damn hyped to get this car, but damn it feels like we’re starting off the wrong foot. Anyone else feel this way?
