Hi all, my name is Reid Lemker, and I cover the Frost for The Ice Garden! I am working on a mailbag column, and I'd love to try to answer some of your questions about the upcoming season!

Please post as many questions as you'd like. I'll do my best to answer as many as I can in an article early next week. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! 💜

Any of you able to list tickets for sale? I have a couple games I know i won't be able to make but when I go to the sell section it says all of the events are not available to sell. in the app the sell button is just greyed out.

I know there's probably a better place to post this, but I'm too old and stupid to find it and a lot of us are also Gopher fans.

The biggest hurdle was replacing Abbey Murphy's scoring. Frosh Milani looks like the real deal, she already has 2 goals. Bella Fanale has 2, she launches herself into a conversation this year. At long last, Chloe Primerano looks to advance to Team Canada; she already has 2 assists. MoJo is a revelation so far - 2 goals, 2 assists. Frosh McCollough has 2 goals. Sarah Paul and Emma Kreisz (Team Hungary) are distributing - 3 assists apiece. Lots involved - 16 of 26 players have contributed: Plosova (Team Czechia), Ava Lindsay, Frosh Hartmetz from SSM - keep your eye on her, Gracie Graham, Syd Bailey, Julia Schalin (Team Finland), Maddie Kaiser managed to stay out of the box and scored, Humphrey, Allard, etc.

Cautiously optimistic. Gophers vs. Buckeyes at Ridder this weekend, Friday at 6, Saturday at 2. I'll bet a lot of PW stars will be roaming around. Abbey Murphy's roomie in Milan - Joy Dunne, the first pick next year? - should be on the ice.

The Stache man himself made it.

I was looking through our preseason roster today, and realized that we currently have two Maddies, and two Maddys. While I know one of them will make the team, I think I'm going to be extremely disappointed if they all don't, now that I know such a quadfecta is possible.

Buddy sent this gorgeous picture!!!! So many layers of detail ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Only team in the Western Conference to win not just one, but TWO CUPS! (yes, I will hype that as long as possible). Really interesting that we ended up the only Original Six team in the West, but we also were always such an outlier.

Also worth noting there will be a new playoff format! Read more here: https://www.thepwhl.com/en/news/2026/october/02/pwhl-announces-2026-27-regular-season-schedule

Hey Frost fans!

I’ve created a printable schedule each year for myself — and this year I went big.

Here are printable PDF schedules for each team. Each team has 4 versions, one for each time zone. No more mental math if you’re in a different time zone than your favorite team.

Let me know of any access issues or incorrect details.

Here’s to a great season!

Hello Frost fans! Sirens/Victoire fan coming in peace to drop off a downloadable schedule for mobile calendars for the Frost, including color. It should just work by downloading the ICS file and importing it into your calendar app of choice.

Taylor Fox will be at Dodge County Ice Arena in Kasson —from 5-6 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the arena in Kasson, with no cost to fans.

Sorry if this has been addressed but it's a changing landscape.

Do we know what the options are to watch Frost games this season? I'm one of the last living Americans with cable, but do I need a VPN?

The Lynx had a free app on Victory that worked pretty well this season. Otherwise, you're chasing USA, Ion, Peacock, ABC, ESPN, Prime, etc, etc, but at least we can see most/all of the games.

Broadcast on ION Scripps, TSN and Radio Canada (French)

Minnesota Frost 2026 second round pick Viivi Vainikka currently leads the SDHL with 5 goals and 7 total points in 3 games

As of early this morning, she also lead the league in puck battles won (35), and is tied for 1st in +/- with +5 (7 for, 2 against)

The SDHL streams all their games live on youtube, and MoDo will next play Friday the 25th at 11AM central

Just posted on Facebook from the team ❤️

Giguère talks a bit about college, finding her footing last year with the Frost, living in Minnesota over the summer, and being excited to hit the ground running this coming season.

I really liked her play going into the playoffs and really think she could have a good year. I'm predicting early that I think Christian and Giguère could be a fun duo on the first or third line

Hanging out before the Saints game for season ticket holders. Had to lookup the recipe from the experts!!!

Also, I signed up for Forge tickets this year so I’m in 108!

We were given the opportunity for four Saints tickets for today's game versus the Mets.

I'm a tax accountant with a looming corporate extension deadline (Tuesday).

Would any Frost fans like my tickets? First pitch is at 5:07. Spectacular day for baseball!

Down to 2.5 hours before kickoff, puck drop, tipoff, etc. Any takers?

Vainikka is currently on loan to MoDo in the SDHL in preparation for Worlds and PWHL season. She was a second round pick in 2026.

(PWHL) teams will open training camps ahead of the 2026-27 season on Wednesday, Nov. 18, following the completion of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship taking place in Denmark from Nov. 6-16. As part of preseason roster building and evaluation, each of the PWHL’s 12 teams will compete in two scrimmages hosted across five different PWHL markets between Nov. 22-30.
