Hello everyone!

I've discovered the game recently and I like it. However the current game/server is not as challenging as I'd like.

I'm looking for recommendations where the game offer challanging survival, a not-so-fast progression (items, enchants etc. for example on my current server enchants seem to be waay too op and there are no levels to them, you just get the best apparently and you can even select what you want.) I want monsters/enemies that are actually a threat even beyond the first few of hours of gameplay. I'd like to have more content to explore, portal to other worlds/dimensions (not just the nether) and giant caves are cool but without dungeons etc. they quickly become boring, same applies to the surface, dungeons, desert temples etc. would be awesome to have.

I hope there is something matching my taste because the game is pretty good, but I need a harder survival experience instead of handouts and more content besides the nether.

Is there a mod that enables this, or a way to do it in mineclonia?

It's a long story, but I must say... I miss my old farm life, but this new life isn't really bad! ✨

I could chose to migrate to a nearby Forest, but I like this new experience, Maybe soon I'll step in to the farming world again

(I've also returned from hiatus, I might post what I've been doing in this world so far, it will just take a bit of time... Quite busy these days)

Is there any other way to administrate + run server for free? Even if it's local?

Im not familiar with school system bcz installing stuff is a cramp and I usually have to ask the "IT" staff to install stuff

Most people think of Luanti as a free minecraft with Mods. However, its my understanding that its completely programmable with in the co-text of a Voxel engine.

What are some of the best non traditional uses for it?

So basic Ideas I have so far are

• RPG with storylines
• Escape-room.
• Large mazes
• Basic Educational simulator.

Im looking for a seed that i played on as a child (mainly for nostalgia lol). I remember it spawned you in an ocean with cliffs and a small jungle. Once you scaled the cliff there was a bit more jungle and then a savanna. It was like 4-5 years ago.

I can no longer use my mouse wheel to switch items in the inventory bar, and I'm not using any mods that alter the bar. Do you have a solution?

Startup kit for hardcore veteran gameplay

I added seral mods that increase the difficulty like many more monsters.

To balance that i added mods with guns etc.

Now i need a way to prepare a starter kit that adds a full set of veteran equipment to the player, so he have a chance to initially survive and seek for more resources to continue the exploration and battles.

I read the only way is to edit manually a config file to place there a /giveme command.

But i am on mobile.. well i can do it with shizuku+xplore...

But i at least need to dump all my inventory, that i easily prepared using initially creative mode, in a text file to quickly place it at the /giveme command, but i found no mod to let me dump the inventory and armor data proper strings: mod:item count,...

Any tip?

. And I believe such renderer could lower the polycount and the physics terrain calc, allowing for farer views.

. So any project aiming this on luanti? I play on android.

I'm the developer and game designer of Grudgelands, a Luanti based (M)MORPG. It combines elements of classic MMOs with playstlyes of different Luanti games. There's questing and leveling, factions, races and PvP, a group system, classes, skills and talents, crafting and professions, mounts, capital cities and POIs boss fights, housing, a completely custom map generator written in lua, and much much more to discover.

I have been playing minetest for years and there is this new public server called “all the mods” and they got textures that look exactly like Minecraft and I’m wanting to make a single player server with those texture packs and mods but I do not know where to get them, does anybody know?

.it works, i can move thru but had some issues:

- the player becomes a dwarf and shows as floating (levitating) and the head goes inside the block above. (Only the head not the camera, the cam is good!)

- spiders can follow in the tunnel but they fail to attack, i guess because i think they jump and hit the block above instead of the player

- exiting the hole and moving towards an auto climbable block messes controls, having to stand up to fix

- it is a great way to escape mobs as they cant crouch, could be harder tho, they could crouch too lol

Is there any working 1blockTall crouch mod?

My friends and I have been getting back into block games recently but I get pretty quickly burnt out on survival/crafting stuff. Anyone know if there's an RPG style game for Luanti I can set up a server for?
