Mod Post Our New Partnered Community, r/ForeverWorlds

Hello to all members here at r/Minecraft_Survival, r/Minecraft2, and our community Discord. We’ve recently been working to build a new community dedicated to an increasingly popular Minecraft play style, the Forever World! A Forever World (also known as a long-term world) is simply a Minecraft survival world that you plan to play on forever. This doesn’t mean you can’t have other worlds in between, but rather that you keep coming back to the same world consistently for years, no matter how long it’s been since you began. Together with u/NerdieBirdieYT, we’ve put together a subreddit to share and discuss *your* forever worlds. Alongside this, we have a Discord to chat, gain advice, share pics and videos, and coordinate world tours!

The subreddit is r/foreverworlds, and it is open to everyone for anything you have to share or discuss about Forever Worlds. We invite you to join, whether you’ve had your survival world for a couple of months, several years, or even well over a decade! We’d love to see progress pics and megabuilds, but also the small things that help you keep coming back to the same world time after time. We want you to show us everything that keeps your world fresh and makes it special to you!

We’d also love it if you joined our Discord, Forever Worlds United, at https://discord.gg/QChEEc2uqR. Here, you can share your experiences with and plans for your Forever Worlds personally with like-minded members of the community. Additionally, this Discord server will have a collection of world downloads to explore, schematics to download, and videos showcasing Forever Worlds. Additionally, we will plan and host live world tours for our community to come together and inspire one another through their worlds.

If you’ve been running a single world for a while and want to know what it takes to keep it going as long as many of us have, we’d love to bring you up to speed! If you already have a Forever World, we are eager for you to join and share it with us. And if you just want to be inspired by what years of work in one world can do, please join us as we build up this community!

Mob Farm Advice for fixing this mob farm?

(on Bedrock on latest version; normal mode)

Before you say anything, yes I know this build is ancient and not the most optimized. I spent hours working on it, so I don't want to rip it down just so I can have the most efficient farm--I just want it to work properly. It has worked in the past (not super speedy, but that's not what I'm looking for), but ever since this latest update, it just... stopped working. I've checked if I'm on peaceful (I'm not, because hostiles spawn perfectly fine outside this farm), I've tried manually updating the game, I've lit up all the caves nearby, I've made sure the area in the farm is as dark as possible, I've made sure there's plenty of spawning space with ground blocks that are able to be spawned on... I swear I've tried everything. If anyone can offer some advice (outside of ripping it down), that would be much appreciated.

I decided to update to version 1.12.2, built a starter base, and a tavern while I was at it.

I'm from Brazil, so please forgive me if my English is bad. I wanted some suggestions for builds in this spot; the cave is huge, and I haven't fully explored it yet. What do you think?

Mob Farm Can anyone help me with villager breeder tutorial for 26.1+ plz 🥺

I used this tutorial to build my villager breeder but they didn't breed at all (starts off with heart and then suddenly fire particles show up every time). I built it underground and it is close to a village (actually thought that spawn chunk will run 24/7 still works on 26.1+ that's why build them there, it doesn't work anymore).

Any video suggestions link or improvements I can do on this breeder to make it work !? Which breeder tutorial u guyz use 26.1+ players?

Am gonna use tuff/tuff bricks and spruce wood for the walls but can't think of anything for the buildings

The theme I'm going for is over grown midevil I guess

I want the buildings to look kinda old and I'd really like I your idea kinda fit with the vibe of my area

( can send more pics of my build if u need)

For anyone curious the seed is: 8408838322427063724

Cords are: 260 71 1520 (you'll be near the rock-ish part of the first pic)

Anyways what are some good build ideas u guys have for me?

Survival Build Looking for small builds suggestions

Hello there. I recently started a chill survival game with large biomes (I had been looking for a mod including this feature for a while before learning it already existed in the base game since a long time and feeling stupid). I spawned in a gigantic snowy forest :I have Voxy with render distance maxed and loaded chunks with chunky and still can see nothing but spruce trees, snow and ice. I like it.. After some mining and exploration I found a nice mountain with a big crater in the middle which seemed to me like a really nice and safe place to settle. I built a small basic house and some snow golems and a couple iron golems to reinforce the feeling of safety and confort (but the golems seem to don't like staying in the crater and keep going at the top of the mountain and its surroundings. Anyway.) I am now looking for more small builds that both serve a purpose and give life to this place while still being coherent with the surrounding environment. I plan to make this crater a kind of small safe and chill outpost for the beginning of the game before maybe moving away to explore and build greater things later in the game. If you have some suggestion, illustrated or not, I'll be happy to read them. Bye bye!
