Does anyone know why importing add-ons doesn't work anymore?

Hi, I haven't played Minecraft in about 2 years now and I tried importing some of my favorites but I tried importing the way I know how and they didn't work, did mojang change the way they're imported or is it just my device?

It works. I personally use FX File Explorer.

Depends on your file explorer sadly. I don’t think you have the option to import from the stock file manager

just like the other comment. it depends on your file manager.

for me i use Zarchiver and it works fine. i just click on the pack, press the arrow button and choose Minecraft

I know about samsung only if u have samsung u would have a app named files with blue icon. whatever map or addon u will download that will go to download folder of files app, n when u will click on the addon file or map file in download section it will auto open ur mcpe and it will import

I mean you can download this app called mcpedl it's a Minecraft mod app and it lets you import the mods directly from the app and it works for me and I have the same issue as you but it works for me so try it
