Question Modding and Cheating?

Im the type of guy who after finishing or playing a game alot, I love to mod them and make funny items in game, which i did alot of in the first dungeons game, but with the new online/offline only characters I dont know if I try to mod with my online character with just my friends if there might be any issues that could happen?

Also i dont know if im allowed to talk about mods if im not linking anything and im just asking a question

AFAIK you aren't able to modify your online saves

I thought that was the case but i assumed someone would find a way around it which is also why i felt the need to ask and get someone elses opinion. does microsoft ever do any punishments like that?

That's fair, tbh I'm glad I stuck with an offline character just for this reason lol. Have 1 Hero that's my legitimate save and another just for modded items

I believe you can even though I dont know how. Some guy posted a tiktok showing a full inventory of power level 999 items with 4 modifiers
