A building of many names! Then the Bank of Manhattan Trust Building, now the Trump Building, always at 40 Wall Street, this magnificent tower combines classic Art Deco and neo-gothic elements into record holding staple on the downtown New York skyline.

As always, it is recreated here in 1:1 to match its midcentury grimy look, it’s the newest addition to my solo recreation of history’s greatest skyline.

I've been working on this vaguely Victorian/Edwardian, llama-inhabited city since about May, and I was wondering if there's any ways I could improve it? I've had some trouble with having the streets feel really lived-in, as well as some lighting issues. Any critiques are welcome.

I’ve just finished decorating Riverside’s first highway interchange! What do you think of the interchange, my custom trees, and their autumn colors? I’m planning to use this color palette throughout Riverside. 🍂🌆

Nearing year 7.

After several days of work, I’ve finally finished Riverside Hospital, and it’s absolutely massive, as you can see in the pictures!
It consists of an older main building with modern extensions added over time.
And of course, it’s ideally located right next to a highway interchange.

Urqu, the Mountain Commune, rests upon the tallest mountains in the whole world of Abexilas. Along its peaks revolution was carved away the despotism of the dictatorship. In its placed was enshrined the power of the Players, of the working class of Krasnoi and of the whole server. Here, over centuries the stubborn, but proud Urquan people, helped make the Zaryt Republic of Kasnoi complete. It is a place of industry and history; having been one of the first communes to undergo the project of developing a planned economy in Minecraft but also where the national language of Cura was first studied and standardized from.

From its brutalist towers and stony steps, echoed the pride of all peoples.

I’m doing a bunch of expansions at the moment so it’s a bit of a mess.

Vanilla bedrock Xbox edition. Same map, old school super flat originally created many years ago on Xbox 360 approx 13 years ago although much of the original world has been demolished several times over the years.Mostly only worked on in a few spare hours on weekends these days.

Used maps to make ATM screens. My city is filled with parody brands - Race (Chase) Bank and Gruntington (Huntington) Bank.

The first post I did on r/minecraft failed miserably,

So hopefully it works this time.

Sorry for the repost; I figured some closer-up shots would be good. I just finished some of the inner walls (Star Wars inspo) and need to finish the airport next. Walking through these streets, and just the mountains, ships, and vertical factories in the distance alongside the beautiful green mountain, really motivates me to keep going.

Anyways, what do you guys think? What should I add next?

A close-up of the wall designs is at the end of the image gallery :)

Making a city feel alive, when there is no life, can be hard.
But little details help you forget and keep you distracted from the fact that it isn’t a living city.

Honorable mention, all the cars have unique licenses plates😅

Today, I’m trying out a new format to showcase my builds. What do you think?

I've been doing less work because I'm SUPER busy with school. Anyway, I started the first and probably only skyscraper and I'm making the grand hotel. The first image is the hotel lobby which was inspired by a Vanderbilt mansion and the 5th image has the hotel itself. The skyscraper is also an accurate height for 1907 at 86 blocks or 282 ft.
