Builds & Maps Finally finished splitting the sea. Looking for advices.
After days of work, I'm finally done with this 450 blocks long trench that took more efforts than i thought lol.
Anyway now i'm wondering if i should add more stuff in the middle to make it more lively (especially compared to all the corals around).
Also wondering if anyone knows how i could light this up to avoid mob spawning without just spamming ugly torches everywhere.
I believe I can't build a mob switch since I'm on PS5 Bedrock but if you know a way please tell me.

Builds & Maps Medieval City feeling empty
Need some advice on a build. I'm trying to make this feel like a bustling city, so the streets are pretty wide especially at this sort of midpoint, but what can I add to make it feel lived in and active rather than the empty state it's in right now?

Builds & Maps Microbase 5x5x5 mk3
EDIT: Here is a minecraft world download (this includes: 2 examples, step by step build instructions, and some rules to challenge yourself). Make sure to say hello to Gerald. https://www.mediafire.com/file/vwg5qdt8jhp2t29/5x5x5_M3_Micro_Base_1_0.zip/file

Here is a fully functional survival base, fitting in every player block, infinite; water, lava, cobble, food all within a self supporting 5x5x5.
The smooth stone blocks can be replaced with any desired functional or decorative block. There is enough space even for a beehive and campfire set up of desired
Every functional block is accessible from within the base, with the exception of the farmland. There's even a trader for those precious mending books.
This was a fun challenge, what can you fit into a 5x5x5? I'd LOVE to see how others cram it all in

Builds & Maps My Final Good Bye - Sharing my World
Hello internet,
I’m a 32 year old gamer based in the United States. Unfortunately, I have a terminal condition that is taking a sudden turn for the worse, and I'm entering hospice tomorrow. I won’t be logging back on Reddit after posting this.
I created my forever world, Aminova, a few years back and built it up pretty massively. I’ve had a blast in the game and it was one of the few things that brought me peace and escape in my final months when things were the worst. To that end, I don’t want Aminova to disappear after I’m gone.
I’m including here a download link to my world file. It has a pretty massive main base a ways off spawn (there’s a Nether blue ice highway at spawn to it), and it has a wood farm, iron farm, trading halls, all breedable animals, all collectibles, full netherite gear, floating replica biome islands and a lot of other stuff.
I don’t have any expectations about anyone seeing this, but, just the thought of even one more person having some silly misadventures in this place that is so special to me brings a smile to my face.
If you decide to check it out, I hope you enjoy it and my lousy architecture.

Builds & Maps My Hole is Complete.
After over three years of on and off mining on my forever world, I have fully dug out a 171 block deep and 109 block wide hole all in survival. This has been a Minecraft goal of mine ever since I first started playing, and I’m just really proud to be able to share this with everyone.
Including the starting slope inward, I dug out over 2 Million blocks. Although the diameter is 109 blocks I did also have to mine out the floor and one extra block outward for the walls making it a 111 block wide hole I mined out, giving me the 2 Million mined blocks number.
Problem now is, I don’t know what to do with it…
But also, it’s time for a new project.

Builds & Maps After a year and a half of digging, I have finished excavating an ancient city.
For full transparency, i have started using a vein miner mod in the past 3 weeks which made the most recent 2 beacon radius's go a lot quicker than the previous 6. That said, its still been a massive undertaking and what comes next is a much larger undertaking as I plan on terraforming a very large radius around the ancient city to make the transition from the overworld to the ancient city feel seamless (or as seamless as possible). Honestly I'm not sure how long this will take, but given the fact that just digging this place up took a year and a half, I expect the terraforming to take at least 5 years lmao. Minecraft is a great hobby

Builds & Maps I Spent 700 Hours Building My University Campus in Minecraft
I built a detailed 1.8:1 scale recreation of Korea University campus in Seoul, South Korea, in Minecraft.
Major buildings have been fully recreated with interiors, and the map even includes functioning elevators and a controllable drone, both made entirely with commands.
The surrounding city has also been recreated in a simplified form, using GIS data for accurate layout and terrain, and spans an area of approximately 6000×6000 blocks.

Builds & Maps I’ve spent 6 years building the biggest bunker in Minecraft
It all started six years ago — I just wanted to build a small hobbit house underground…
And somehow it turned into a massive bunker with reactors, tunnels, and living quarters that keep expanding every year 😅
Everything was built in creative mode, piece by piece, over time. I’m still adding new areas and improving old ones.
It’s crazy to think this all began with a “tiny cozy base” idea that completely got out of hand lol

Builds & Maps Textureless builds are now possible in minecraft?
Yes! With the new upcoming addition of concrete stairs and slabs it’s now possible to create builds WITHOUT TEXTURE in VANILLA minecraft meaning you can make unusual looking builds with ONLY colour and ZERO textures. I built this as an example of different ways you can build using these blocks. Could this be a new way of building in minecraft???
Update:
What could this new build style be about?
This new building style could be about focusing primarily on the structure, and colour itself, without worrying about how texture affects the build and all the small details you see in most of them.
Also thanks for all the support on this idea. 💡

Builds & Maps Today is my 12 Year Anniversary on my Minecraft world!
This is Sky Pixel, a massive Minecraft world I've been developing for 12 years. Today officially marks its 12-year anniversary.
The project began on the PlayStation 3 in July 2014, before moving to the PlayStation 4 in 2016. I later played it on the PlayStation 5 in 2020, and in late 2021 it made its permanent move to PC. Along the way, the world evolved from the original PlayStation classic world size of 864×864, to the PlayStation 4's expanded 5120×5120 world, then into Minecraft Bedrock in December 2019, before growing into the enormous world it has become in 2026.
From major cities like Harlow, Elowah, Octavian, and La Morley (along with many more), to vast mountain ranges such as the North Coast and Alyeska, towering fjords, glaciers, dense forests, intricate rail networks, teleportation systems, deserts, and countless other locations—every part of this world has been built, sculpted, designed, and created by me.
While Sky Pixel draws inspiration from landscapes around the world, its greatest influence is the Pacific Northwest, stretching from Northern California to the coast of Alaska. Having been born and raised in this region, it has always been the heart of my inspiration. Even so, Sky Pixel has grown into a world that is far more diverse than that alone. My world is already out for anyone to play.
