Question Lost and found thread for rings
Hello Miltonians!
I have been metal detecting our city's playgrounds for hazards while my little one plays and I have pulled out about 80 sharp objects over the last year! I have been to about 22 parks.
I have also found many rings and I would LOVE to return them to their rightful owners. SO, if you of someone you know lost any rings, or anything metal and valubal to you in the woodchips at a playgound in Milton, that you would like returned to you, please DM ME a description of the object and approximately where you lost it.
I have logged everything I found and the date/location of them so I will be able to verify.
Thanks all,
-Scott

I did lose my wedding set. It would have been either at Clark South or around guardian angels park. I lost it last fall though so I doubt you found it. Thank you for removing the sharps that you have.

How do sharps get in there

A few were obviously deliberate... maybe teenagers messing around. Others were things like hairpin or safety pins from events... I dont know how these random nails and screws get in the woodchips... maybe from wherever they get the fill from

Firstly, thank you for removing those dangerous items from the park and helping to keep communities safe for everyone. Secondly, absolutely incredible that you are proactively trying to find the owners. Fingers crossed some of the rings make it back to their owners.
