Hey everyone! Made a previous post about getting some MAC fans together in chicago to watch the battle for the Victory Cannon. Well, I called the Globe and they said they have ESPN+ and can put the game on. So if you’re looking to meet some MACtion enjoyers and watch the game, come through! Rep your school! Game is at 12:30pm but I’ll be early. Let me know if you’re going!

Hi Folks! I’ve been on a quest to go to every Kent State Football game this season. Halfway through the regular season, I’ve been a perfect 6/6 and hopefully it stays that way (knock on wood). I’ve started writing previews about our team since some people encouraged me to start doing some sports writing. Let me what you guys think!

We went to Akron and had an amazing time! The campus was beautiful and the experience was great. Great fans, staff and amazing game against Eastern Michigan. We received field and press box access for the game and got some great footage of some MACTION! We will definitely be back and recommend following your team there. Thank you Akron for the hospitality and opportunity!

any help is appreciated, even a view is. Searching for the real nerds only.

Michigan college football is making some serious noise!

This Saturday, Western Michigan and Central Michigan square off in one of the state's biggest in-state rivalries! The Broncos are having an impressive season, but can they keep rolling against the Chippewas?

Meanwhile, Ferris State continues to dominate Division II football, riding an incredible 36-game winning streak! The Bulldogs have built a powerhouse program that deserves national recognition.

Coach Conz breaks down the Western-Central rivalry, the success of Western Michigan, and the incredible run Ferris State has put together.

🏈 Who wins Saturday — Western or Central?

Currently Pac-12 is not set to sponsor women’s rowing. This leaves Gonzaga, Oregon State, and Washington State without a conference for this sport. For obvious reasons, I didn’t think any of them had a chance at getting into MAC. However, with Sacramento State joining, I feel the three would have more of a chance at candidacy. Would give them more west coast schools to make Sacramento State less of an outlier and the four could even have a west coast MAC regatta event.

Should MAC consider them?

It's time for another MACtion Monday! Our weekly podcast covering the happenings around the Mid-American Conference

📌 JMU to The American, what ripple effects could impact the MAC?

📌 Buffalo stuns Toledo and wild endings around the MAC - recapping Week 6

📌 Week 7 Preview - CMU/WMU & the Flagship Cup give us multiple rivalry games!

What are your thoughts and takeaways for the MAC this week?

I love this for NIU. Too good for the MAC now traveling across the country to get stomped

This may just be copium, but Toledo technically still has a minute chance to make it to the CFP.

Most would say, including myself, that the Rockets playoff chances are practically dead including 0% chance on ESPN. But, there may still be a way for them to make it even after their loss to Buffalo.

These are the requirements:

- Must win-out and beat the rest of their schedule by at least two scores or more.

- Must win the conference.

- Must BTA WMU.

- Must end ranked.

- Must have all other G6 playoff contenders have a similar blunder as Toledo did or lose their conference.

With all these requirements, this also opens up the door to WMU to do the same thing if they BTA Toledo. This unnamed scenario has >1% of happening, but depending on what happens in the weeks ahead, it is still possible.
All this scenario needs is a name.

We had another weekend of (mostly) conference play, it featured some surprises and much more! What are your reactions following week 6?

Hey everyone, I(23M) am a huge CMU fan after graduating a couple of years ago, and I currently live in chicago. With the Battle for the Victory Cannon coming up on the 17th, I wanted to see if anyone knew of any watch parties here in Chicago? I’m totally down to also meet up and watch it with some fellow MACtion enjoyers, although I’m afraid it’ll get thrown on ESPN + which would make going to a bar difficult. Anyways, lmk if you’d be down to meet up

As usual multiple teams... https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50119421/college-football-bottom-10-week-5-michigan-back

Sac State, Ball St. and Akron all make it in.

Although BG moved to the waiting list with their upset win. IMO probably off of even the waiting list after (likely) beating Sac St. next week.

It's time once again for MACtion Monday! The first full slate of MACtion produced a major shakeup, time to talk about it!

📌 Recapping my on-site experience of Bowling Green's unexpected win over Miami

📌 Upsets & near-upsets Eastern Michigan boatraces UMass, Western Michigan survives Buffalo, Ohio outlasts Kent State

📌 Looking Ahead to Week 6

What are your thoughts from this week?

Feels like the first time all year that Sac State didn't have a late night game. It's time for this week's reactions! We finally had a full slate of conference play and it was a wild day across the conference

What are your reactions to this week's action?

We’re going to Akron next week for the Eastern Michigan game. Wondering where is a MUST STOP, what’s the tailgate scene situation? What should we expect?

We vlog our tailgate experience and showcase the local community/food/fans. We’re all about history, lifelong fans, and spreading positivity.

Thank you!

I dont usually post the pod here but we touch on the rest of the league for a bit in the middle. Lots of 2-2 or worse in the MAC. Who has it in them to make a charge at WMU, Toledo and UMass?

https://youtu.be/JNPSP5AMNxE?is=1gvdUZ3skrusNF5h

I am a student at Texas A&M, and only 15 minutes outside of College Station this has to be the biggest BGSU flag in the state of Texas. At first I saw the orange and thought it was a Texas Longhorn flag not nope maction going on in Texas.

Week 4 was a huge week in the Mid-American conference with some huge home matchups and some conference games. It's time for your reactions to it all! What are your reactions after week 4?

I have a lot of MAC content to share today! I was on the sidelines for Western Michigan's showdown with Boise State. Here's a recap of the game as well as what this means for both Boise State and Western Michigan. For WMU there is still a lot at stake this season

It's that time again! MACtion Monday is here!

Who else is excited for conference play?

Hey, I have a question: why are there websites in the US that show how much money has been donated to specific organizations and institutions? It seems to me that this is very different between the US and Europe. In the US, people show this quite openly, while in Europe, the amount of a donation or the way it was made is often kept private.

Can someone explain how this works in the US? Is it meant to set a good example for others? Or do you sometimes see it as a way of showing off, even without revealing the actual amount donated?

I’m also curious about the European perspective. What do you think? I haven’t seen websites in Europe showing how much money has been donated to specific organizations, but I’ve already found a few in the US.
