I’ve lived on Abbott and 78th for about a decade and in the past year every shop on my usual shopping block 74-75 and Collins (two bodegas, my favorite bakery, deli and two small restaurants), have been closed down. Probably bought out to build some new ugly ass condo. I understand things change, but it’s tough to see all of these small businesses getting pushed out. North beach used to be the last neighborhood in Miami Beach that’s retained its character and charm, wedged between mid beach and surfside. I loved it. Still love it but sad to see it go. Rents will probably skyrocket next year and we’ll have to move.

I tried going twice before but ended up leaving because the wait was over 2 hours. Today I finally woke up early enough to try them and honestly… after all that hype, I was expecting more lol. Guess they’re not all they’re cracked up to be 😂

anyone know where to get ultra tickets for less or is it better to just wait for single day passes the ga is $500 per person rn

My business in Barbados is looking at renting a large house and turning into an air bnb guest house. Buying stuff in Barbados is sinfully expensive. So we want to take a short 3 day trip to Miami and buy furniture, beds, TVs, chairs, fridges etc etc. Where would I go?

My adult daughter & I want to SUP to Raccoon Island. I have read that fresh water is what the raccoons need most.

But what foods have you seen the raccoons really like?

Should we just rent SUP boards from the park, or go on a guided tour? We have never been there.

I’m literally shaking right now. My CBR1000 was stolen this morning 2:54am and I’m desperately trying to find it. I just moved to Miami about a month ago, and I honestly don’t even know where to start.

If anyone has seen my bike, noticed anything suspicious, or has any information, PLEASE reach out to me. Even the smallest lead could help me get it back.

Hi! I live in South beach and just got a car. I need it to make long trips 2-3x a week, not every day. It’s a beater and I often have some time when I have to park it so I figured I’d try out residential parking and if it sucks I’ll consider a garage. I don’t mind walking a few blocks from a spot.

The question is: how long can I leave it in one spot? E.g. if I don’t need it for a few days, do I have to move it? How many days is that?

I have a permit (zone 2), so I know overnight is ok, just not how MANY overnights. I can’t find this info ANYWHERE. Thank you!
