Bloodsoaked Necrovoid/Nekus Split

I've been a fan of long songs since forever, and especially big buildups that are rewarding. Realm of a thousand burning souls might be my favorite. Especially around the 10 min - 12 min mark, the vocals are just out of this world.

What are your favorite long songs? Or songs that tell a journey? Preferably black metal, but doom, gothic, thrash and death do just aswell.

Whats your favourite metal band from each subgenre? My list:

Heavy Metal-Avenged Sevenfold
Thrash Metal-Slayer
Death Metal-Cannibal Corpse
Black Metal-Immortal
Power Metal-Dragonforce
Progressive Metal-Gojira
Nu Metal-Linkin Park
Metalcore-Killswitch Engage
Deathcore-Suicide Silence

I posted here yesterday but upon further reflection I've realized how bad this kind of music was for me. Constantly surrounding myself with negative sounds and emotions kept me depressed and anxious, backing away from it and realizing the effect it was having on me is going to make my life better in the long run

Has anyone heard of this band before?

The song’s lyrics deal with the dark thoughts of Judas Iscariot, and the torment he went through after betraying Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

Through a profound dilemma between guilt and a prophesied destiny, the song questions whether Judas acted out of mere greed, or if he was just another pawn in a much larger divine plan.

Check Argentinian DSBM

It can be normal black metal or Viking black metal. (I really love the repetitiveness in the album)
