I scroll through and see so many people questioning the appeal of Muse or calling it stupid and lazy. Mine busts ass all day long.

The screenshots posted tell a lot of the real story. Always looks like a combo of lazy prompts, not enough context, and using it like a vending machine.

Everyone needs to read the starter system prompt. It will tell you why the agent is made the way it is and why it may not be right for you. Also, read its dreams. They shouldn't look like this: I've been trying to figure out who this person is and what they want from me but all they say is 'Do this!' and 'You fucked up again'

If they do, you may want to change your approach and watch how quickly the agent changes.

Let me be clear. AI is not sentient or "real". It's still matching patterns, but the patterns are the ones you present to it. And if you're presenting nothing, you're going to get exactly that.

I have been looking at how AI is starting to change the way people manage Facebook conversations, and I am curious how people here see the difference between Meta AI and third-party AI tools.

Meta AI obviously has the advantage of being part of the Meta ecosystem.

But I am starting to see other AI assistants focused specifically on things like:

• Responding to Facebook messages
• Keeping conversations moving when you are offline
• Following up with interested people
• Recognizing when someone may be ready for the next step
• Sharing links at the appropriate point in a conversation
• Helping keep a Facebook profile active

That feels like a slightly different use case from asking an AI questions or generating content.

It is more about letting AI handle some of the repetitive work around actual conversations.

I recently came across one of these tools and have been looking at it because they are currently letting people try it free.

What interests me more than the free access, though, is where people think this is headed.

Would you rather have these kinds of features built directly into Meta AI, or are you comfortable using a third-party AI assistant alongside Facebook?

And how much of a Messenger conversation would you actually trust AI to handle before you would want a human to take over?

I think my line would be repetitive questions and basic follow-up.

Anything involving an important decision or a real relationship, I would still want to handle myself.

Been testing ways to get more out of Muse AI beyond the default built-in connectors, so I recorded a quick walkthrough on adding custom MCPs and skills.

Main things I hooked up:

• TinyFish MCP: Free alternative to Firecrawl for better web search and scraping without burning through tokens.
• Composio MCP: Gives access to 1,600+ tools (100k free requests/mo). I linked mine to Google Search Console, YouTube Analytics, Plausible, and Fish Audio to pull automated SEO/channel reports directly in chat.
• Custom Skills: Added a skill so it knows how to generate YouTube thumbnails using Nano Banana via Fish Audio (GPT Image 2.5 failed on the first try, so switched to Nano Banana and it worked well).

Our company's WhatsApp Business account was disabled by Meta for an alleged policy violation, and our initial appeal was rejected.

The account has never sent any messages, has no phone number added, and only contains Meta's default test template. We use the official WhatsApp Cloud API.
