Question Normal?

Post image

Is this normal for megami device? The wrist fall off easily. Not one but all wrist joint and hand in this set. The mecha hand is strong, and thats good 👍, only normal/human hand had the issue.

It's the injection moulding roulette, some times you need to sand, some times you need to apply some blutack

I think there's a pen that adds a layer of rubber specifically for loose joints. Haven't tried it myself though.

The joint strengthening pen is actually just a glue pen.

You can even use super glue as a way to thicken joints. Just gotta let it dry first.

Yes, i bought that pen but glue dry too much slowly. Better super glue.

I think the pen is just PVA glue. When I used it once the smell it gave off was so distinct, so you might as well just buy a cheap bottle of PVA glue instead and brush it on (which would also be better for applying it inside a socket).

Normal yeah.. it's not broke so just thicked in a bit with glue. Usually the joints will broke eventually for unknown reason lol

Maybe you can thicken the joint with white glue.

Normal? No. It does, however, happen unfortunately. It's simply one losing the mold lottery. All you have to do is thicken up the wrist peg or the socket itself. Sprue goo, super glue, putty, a joint thickening pen if it's not too loose, etc all get the job done.

I usually add a small dab of super glue on the peg joint, connect it back to the wrist and quickly rotate it around until it dries. If you do it right and it doesn't bind together then it'd have created a thicker wall between the joint and wrist. Do it at your own risk though.
