I last had the bot sent notifs in Aug, just uploaded a yt vid and it wasn't sent out. Upgraded to premium and it STILL wasn't sent out. Any ideas? Also tried to save and re-add my own channel/check bot permissions etc.

I've been using mee6 to announce imminent livestreams on my youtube channel for years; typically within minutes of posting a schedule livestream on our youtube channel, mee6 would post the video link in our announcement channel.

The last week or so, this has stopped happening. Now the bot displays the video link only AFTER the livestream is concluded and the VOD is available.

Was there a change in the mee6 bot? is this a youtube API change? or is this some weird local problem that no one else has had?

Any suggested workarounds?

So since prefix got retired no one of the mods in my server can use any moderation commands anymore despite they having the perms before and also in the mee6 website/dashboard for the specific slash commands,only roles with the admin perms can use the slash moderation commands currently (like /warn for example)

I have added my IG on MEE6 to auto post in the right channel and have MEE6 admin rights turned on but it's not posting my IG posts automatically. Is there a delay between posting and MEE6 uploading it to discord? If so, will it do with with all social media posts on different platforms?

I've been hesitating to upgrade because my ultimate goal is to have just one bot that does it all. MEE6 already does almost everything perfectly for my server, but the only missing piece is a working music feature.

Having background music—especially 24/7 lo-fi streams—is incredibly important for us when we are working on projects and coding in voice channels together. I’ve brainstormed a few ideas that fully respect Discord's TOS.

Honestly, if you guys brought a legal music feature back, I would buy a Premium subscription instantly, no questions asked!

Here are 5 legal alternatives that could work:

1. Spotify Premium Linking: Allow users to connect their Spotify Premium account via OAuth. Since we already pay for the rights to listen, it proves we are legitimate subscribers. 2. Cloud Storage (Drive/OneDrive): Let users link a folder with their own audio files. Since it's privately hosted by the user, it completely avoids copyright strikes. 3. Free Web Radios (like lofi.cafe): Support 24/7 live streams (likehttps://www.lofi.cafe/) or direct audio URLs. Absolutely perfect for chilling and working without breaking any rules. 4. SoundCloud & Bandcamp: Integrate these platforms, which have open APIs and actively welcome independent music streaming. 5. Attachments & Personal Servers: Allow playing audio files dropped directly into text channels, or let advanced users connect their personal media servers (Plex/Jellyfin).

Adding these options would make MEE6 the ultimate all-in-one bot again. Would love to hear the team's thoughts!

Discord Bots

I want to add a verification role to my server. I already use Mee6 for other things so I was going to set it up that way, but then it seems all current members would have to “react” to that message to get access to the server as well. I have a fairly active server (180 members) and that seems like a huge pain.

Is there a way to set it up so current members don’t need to verify but incoming members will?

Hello! Hope you are all well. I wanted to personalize my bot and give it a pfp and name. I did so, and it joined the server as a new account. However, MEE6 is still in my discord server - so I have a few questions. How do I get the new personalized bot to replace MEE6? Does MEE6 need to stay?

Also, is there any way to get certain "mainstay" posts to be replaced with the new bot? For instance, the Verification post that requires a green checkmark react to view the other channels. Is there any risk of "un-verifying" my currently verified members? I'd also imagine I need to add/change thr oles, since the bot is currently without roles. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

So I’m running a giveaway which had 12 participants, the next day I check it has 40 participants and only 2 new people had joined in that time. How could that have happened? Am I supposed to just let someone get 30 entries?

My son is trying to convince me to allow him to subscribe to mee6 to download this game called hyperbox and then cancel the subscription, he thinks he'll get to keep the game but everything I'm reading online says he won't. He claims I'm reading about the wrong thing I'm reading about mee6 discord. I am not game Savvy but he is. Someone please tell me who's right here? I don't mind him paying the one off fee but he's not allowed to keep a subscription going and I don't want him losing the game in 4wks and getting upset either.

Heyo, as of right now, custom bots from Mee6 are not working, or maybe even more of the bot. Meaning a lot of users can't continue their !daily streak.

Depending on how long the bot will continue to be down, if users would lose their streak because of the down time of the bot, is there a way to restore it? Users wouldn't be able to continue their streak due to things out of their control. And time zones/work life play a huge part in it, too.

I hope the bot won't be down for a long enough time to cause a reset, but I've been asking myself several times before what would happen in such a scenario

So I am trying to have Mee6 make a role post using custom emojis that I have in my Discord server, I can select the custom emojis in the drop down roles section and they show up in the server no problem but if I try and add the custom emoji into the Mee6 post body it will then show up as text in my Discord server.

What am I missing?

I manage a massive DC and we're having problems with the Server Boosting automation.

The initial boost earns them their XP, but each subsequent boost fails to earn. I've tried setting multiple roles and automations to counteract this, to no avail unfortunately.

Does anyone have a solution?

I just want to know if this thing has music or any way to do a music bot still or no? I have premium but everything mee6 offers is somewhere else and I want a good music bot. Idk if I want to keep mee6 or not either. I’ve looked and looked but can’t figure out yes or no if there is a music bot google is both depending on how I word my search and I can’t find it on mee6 so I’m assuming it’s not supported but I also feel that the plugins are way worse/less than in the past.

It just says the social media channels in a plural form, but I figure there's an actual limit of how many you can link to it. I have a team of over 30 members with various social media accounts, and I want to ensure I get a bot that can link all their stuff. I've been contemplating the NotifyMe bot basic plan, cause it tells me how many accounts I can attach, but it doesn't do Instagram. I have no clue if I’m just stupid or it’s made to be this way.

I started a small Discord gaming server and of course added MEE6 to make things easier. Now I created a personalized bot from MEE6 to have it fit my server’s aesthetic and I got immediate heart eyes when it told me I could upload up to 1000 emoji’s to it but got hit with a little bit of disappointment when it said in small letters “Only MEE6 can use these”.

Anyway, I was like “well, okay, I don’t necessarily need to use them anyway cause it’s mostly just gonna be game logo’s and whatnot. They would otherwise clutter the server’s emoji tab.” I uploaded some and lo and behold, they do not show up in Reaction Roles at all but I can use them perfectly in embed messages with the emoji ID. I’m not amazingly tech savvy but I do know what I’m doing most of the time. 😅 How come they do not show up in the emoji tab in Reaction Roles but only the actual server emoji’s? Do I need to ignore the emoji’s and just use the ‘[emoji ID] [game name]’ in the text field and would that already do the trick or is there something I am missing? Help is appreciated! 😊

I'm using mee6 to run a game I designed where we use custom command to draw a random embed from a list I set up. I'm fairly sure there's no option available for this, but it would be great if there were an option to remove the message that got selected from the command after it gets chosen once.

Another great custom command feature would be the ability to remove a message from the middle of the message list after creating it. Currently, if you delete one from the middle of a list, it will remove everything in the list that's below the one you chose to delete.
