Behemoth location?

I am looking to get my hands on the Behemoth. I just picked up the new DLC today.

Is it the typical hero mech that just appears in industrial hubs or is there a high valu quest associated with it.

The behemoth shows up multiple times in the DLC missions so you have a few chances to salvage it. The hero is as elusive as any other hero mech.

Just picked the hero up earlier in one of the Kurita industrial hubs as a random spawn.

Stuck 6x LLasers and 2x AC/2s on it, so far so good!

Looks like you got it on Kurita space, you're on campaign mode?

On campaign endgame hubs near conflict zones where heavier mechs tend to spawn as a rare mech (one with icons) are clockwise of the inner sphere map.

On career it would be in or around Terra.

It would make sense lore-wise for it to be in Kurita space at least because it’s a Smoke Jaguar mech.

There top kuritan industrial hubs and the industrial hub in the top middle of the map, in the clan occupied space, are both places ive found them

behemoth hero is a random hero mech in the hub. i circle around the main hub at terra and eventually it shows up.

Other behemoths like the SR6 will be random encounters that you can slavage. I find easiest way to do it is jumping onto 3 or 4 campaign mission and saving the salvage points - at least 50 if one of my ai lancemates just headshots one. i think ran into blood asps and behemoths in jade space but cant recall.

It's random.

Can you specify which mode are you on?I use a rule of thumb: heavier rare mechs (w/ hero mechs) have a higher chance spawning on industrial hubs as rare mechs for sale near higher level conflict zones, the locations are dependent whether you're on campaign or career mode.

But unlike hero mechs being sold on markets they aren't taken off the spawn pool when purchased.

On campaign mode endgame hubs are clockwise of the inner sphere map corresponding to your story campaign progress with the campaign ending in Combine space.

On career these hubs would be in or around Terra since career divided the endgame zones in or around Terra equally amongst the 5 great houses with Terra at its epicenter.

Tukayyid is one of the exceptions in the map esp. on career mode, treat it as a special case because ComStar relocated there after Word of Blake took over Terra.

For example I'm on career, I'm doing a Solaris-Outreach-Chaos March- Northwind-Terra- Fatima - Tukayyid arena tour. I use arena matches' prestige rewards to farm clantech then use the money from the match + prestige rewards to buy every clan tech out being sold in the market there.

I got a SR-6 on a random assassination mission during the open section of SOK. The target lance turned d out to be a SR-1 two Gargoyles, and a SR-6. We were not prepared but managed to get them down while keeping 2 mechs running and got out as there quick.

Since them I've seen them on other assassination missions or raids in novacat space. Also a WARHAMMER IIC with the twin uac20s in the arms and a marauder IIC on the same objective raid along with a SR guarding one of the objectives. .
