Could not be released until the maxwell trial was finished. It was evidence. Biden could not release them. After conviction trump could have released them! Not why would he incriminate himself.

My guess is because they knew there was damaging information for both sides, and there was nothing really convicting Trump, just accusations that were unfounded

I think its pretty clear what's in them. Again, it sucks we have to repeat this but WE dont care who's in them and if it wasn't for Trump and the republicans accountability would happen.
