I'm also a moderator at r/stopdrinkingfitness, r/Dads, r/classof2037, and I help out at r/singlemoms and other subs to help keep things cool. Mostly, I like to stay out of your way as long as posts are genuine, not spreading hate speech or sneaking in product promotions.

Like all of Reddit, you're the best eyes and ears of the sub. Things here look very chill but if problems come up, please let us know. Otherwise, enjoy your time here!

I’ve truly enjoyed being the moderator for this subreddit for most of a year now. I joined with the intention of only serving as Top/only mod for 3 months but stayed longer since it is such a fun subreddit. Though it is not a very active group, the love for these beautiful dogs is wonderful!

Once I reach my one-year anniversary on November 15th, I intend to step down - but wishing you all the best.

When i adopted him, they said he was a Great Dane and Lab. I never thought much of it and just went with it. Now, 2 years after he passed, i think he was a Mastador! Anyways, my 10 years with him were the best 10 years of my life. I never once worried about anything because I knew at end of the day, I got to go home to Ryder!! My best friend of all time!

This is my guy Rue. He was black as a babe and still looks it unless the light is right. Any ideas on what he will look like in a few years? He will be 2 in October.

New here with a new handsome boy. Technically not a full mastador as we are told his dad was a mastador but mom was a Rottweiler. Adopted from a shelter that got a litter of pups from a farmer.

Currently 6 months old 65-70ish pounds, maybe even more he’s a dense one. He’s quite the idiot savant, potty trained within a couple weeks, was sitting and waiting within the same time, zero spatial awareness and thinks everything outside is food except for animals….he hasn’t quite figured out what those are yet lmao

I hope someone will step forward and nurture this community along.

My folks are looking to buy a puppy from her and she is charging 4k plus making them sign an insane contract that really allows them a lot of control. It is feeling scammy. Just wondering if there are any experiences on here.

I would love to hear about your pup doing odd or funny things, especially something unexpected from a dog.

Hi. Our pup has gotten a bit chubby so we switched to diet dog food, switched to lower fat peanut butter in her daily kong, increased exercise (chuck-it), and cut back on treats in general. She still gets her dental chew even though it is high calorie. I think it’s gradually having good effect (after a month, visible improvement). Any other tips?

So, being from Canada it can get quite cold. Today was -25 C (-13F) so on go my little guys booties but now his jacket is too small in the chest.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a winter coat they swear by that stays on?

Hello mastador families. I'd like to introduce Asha (black and brindle) and Koda (full brindle). We got Asha as a puppy and our close friend took in Koda. Our friend had some life changes and asked if we could take in Koda. We've never been a 2 dog family but we gave it a shot. He's been with us for about a month and it's been amazing. They are both such wonderful dogs and have a ton of fun together. We are so lucky to have an amazing breed of dogs their temperament and demeanor is just perfect.
