Mask Advice Looking for alternative to Vogmask for allergies

Short background, I was diagnosed with multiple chemical sensitivity about 8-9 years ago, and the doctor had suggested Respro, Cambridge Mask Co, and Vogmask. I went with Vogmask as it was the cheaper one to get into Canada and I liked them so I bought a few of them in different patterns.

Fast forward to now, they're all old enough that they no longer work properly. I tried Cambridge Mask Co, and I can't get it to fit right (mostly around the nose, fogging up my glasses and letting allergens in, I also don't like the feel of the valve on my face when I breathe in). So I'm looking for something else.

I've tried the masks with a filter pocket (the old style) and they don't work well due to the filters being smaller, and I really don't want to use disposable as I've had an allergy-like reaction to one that the doctor forced me to wear a few years ago.

Are there any options (ideally under $100 CAD) that will work to filter out things like perfumes, cigarette smoke, and other pollutants and fragrances that give me migraines? Or is it worth splurging for Respro or Airinium? If so, which model is best for general wear (grocery shopping, walking downtown, maybe at the gym), or are multiple masks with different uses more worth it? Should I just sew my own for those carbon filters to fit into with a better seal?

I'm feeling lost with all the options and not having access to the doctor who diagnosed me anymore.

TLDR: I have multiple chemical sensitivity and need a mask that blocks out allergens, Cambridge didn't fit right.

Mask Advice Question about potentially broken seal?

Hello. In very tldr fashion, my dad had this old respirator from many years ago, never used, and when we took it out of a box to look at, this yellow circle (which I'm assuming is a seal or a diaphragm) crumbled like a thin sheet of dried paint. Does this render the mask unsafe/unusable? If so, is it replaceable, or would it be easier to get a new, modern one? Any information is welcome.
