Interesting that the Spokane fires was for Montana and not the state that it was in. Obviously makes sense because of how close Spokane is to Montana and the smoke path, but still a little funny.

For the fires to show up for Washington the eastern side of the mountains they would have to be out searching the western side and unlike previous years where the ash and smog was really bad from fires, this year the wind and mountains blocked pretty much all of it so the western half was barley impacted and had little need to google it and, well, as pretty as the rolling hills are they are out pretty out numbered when it comes to voicing "Washington" opinion on things.
