Party matching outside town

"Cannot be done in the current map"

So, I can't just save some time and recruit or auto-match while farming, I need to be in town doing nothing to be in a party.

Yeah Oinkwell, explain us the logic behind this one

Yeah it's pretty cringe that you can't matchmake while grinding. Never understood that

Pretty sure it works in interactive. It just doesn't work in instanced maps

I’ve never even known this was an option lol. Does it apply you to open recruitment parties or does it just make a new party with people using this feature?

It creates a new party with people who are also on auto match, or if someones creates a open recruitment auto join their party

pretty sure you cant queue because you cant form parties in instanced maps, if it allowed you to do so you would just be instantly kicked

I mean sure, but they’re fully capable of implementing a system that teleports everyone in matchmaking to the boss room and then forming the party.

Before the maps were instanced, you could do this

If you want to know why, its because parties used to split the meso even if players were not on the same map as you. So you could be in a party of 2, have the other guy in town, and youd only receive half the meso. To combat this, they made parties in Grandis maps locked and then pushed that to Boss recruitment as well.
