My Winter Showcase bingo card (with explanations)

Here's my take on what I think is going to be announced. It's a mix of what was announced during KMS's Overdrive Showcase and my own personal observations from the game (along with some copium). Sorry if the formatting is crap, I don't post a ton.

Things we will almost certainly get (No explanation needed):

- Challenger World 4

- Lethe

- Bellona

- Ride or Die 5

Things that I think we'll get for sure:

- Althea Saga continuation: Seemed to do really well last time, developers seem to enjoy doing it, it makes money.

- No less than 4 (optional paid passes): The whales whale. What can I say.

- Most of the QoL from Overdrive: Simplified dailies, Legion grid change, 20 minute boss change, Damage cap increase, Boss practice per phase. This will probably be in a flashy montage.

- Roadmap through February, along with a heartfelt apolgy from Inkwell: He will probably say how sorry he is about not giving us proper communication and the failure to keep the game maintained as much as they said they were going to. They will follow it up with a roadmap that outlines the winter event through February.

- 3rd Hexa Skill Core: this was in the Overdrive showcase in KMS, so it will be here too.

- 5th Legion champ unlocked: See above.

Things we may get, but also things we may not get:

- Pity system change (but in a good way): This includes things like another 10% increase on Star Speck box collection and the ability to hold even more traces. And for the copium addicts out there, Grandis trace restore missions.

- MVP revamp. Mentioned in Overdrive but I don't think it'll make it's way over here.

- Monster Park hands: Or just the "hands" feature all together, where you can control your character remotely via your phone. I just think that's too much for GMS to bring over.

- Monster Park Extreme removal + Monster park sweeps: This would be an awesome change to get, but we may not get it. KMS (as well as GMS interactive) uses maple points to purchase MP passes 3-7, so the incentive is there to complete all of them at once (this would encourage people to use maple points to instantly complete 7 runs of monster park). As awesome as it would be to only have to run MP once and get 7 full runs, I don't think GMS will get this.

A large amount of copium needed:

- Universal Vac Pet: I don't think we're going to get anything "universal". Not entirely sure how the final tier of Universal Vac Pet would work on Heroic. Reboot makes a TON of money from Vac Pets (look at the last event). They probably won't even mention it.

- 90 crystal change: A lot of people are asking to halve the amount of crystals and double the amount of meso we get from them, making running bosses more efficient. Instead of 10-15 boss mules, only 5-10. KMS got the change, but we didn't. We still won't get it. A mapler can dream, though.

- Instanced Loot: Yeah, still no. Heroic will still have to abide by the honor system for their vestiges.

Keep dreamin', bud:

- Universal Cash Shop: Them giving us cash shop transfer once a quarter pretty much confirms that we'll never get this.

Me too.. all my most efficient upgrades are from flaming right now but I cannot be assed to manually use 500 flames one at a time

The MP Sweep function, beside being a maple point sink, was stated as a QoL update, so probably it will come.
90 crystal change would be good if we dont lose income with it, since bosses like PB and Cygnus will stop being a weekly bosses, it is the best time to implement this change

Honestly speaking from a post I made a few weeks back players don’t really like playing mules. So reboot getting KMS crystal change probably would be a massive boon for the community even if it nerfs ppl with giga eAdv mules slightly. Plus it would buff reg enough to not feel terrible

I want to see hyperion merge with kronos or have crossworld bossing. With progression being linked to bossing it feels like shit when I have mules who can greendot ctene but cant find a pubs to do them. Im leaving so many arcane boxes on the table.

The qol stuff from KMS that we are certainly getting (20min bosses, boss phase practice, etc) are probably gonna get skipped over entirely in the showcase and will only be seen in patch notes. GMS showcases typically only vaguely mention those kinda things and instead focus on the big events and GMS specific stuff.
