Question Arc Mage or Evan

I haven't played in so long but decided to log in and see there is a free job change that will expire in two days. I am an arc mage right now and saw that Evan uses the same gear. Which class is better end game in regards to being able to solo?

If you’ve got great gear I imagine whichever one you enjoy the play style of better, I can’t speak to the mage jobs specifically but aside from a few DPS specific classes it boils more down to gear progression and maxing your stats and nodes. I play Dawn Warrior because I like it, if I moved all of my gear from that character to another I am sure there will be minor power balances but I wouldn’t imagine a huge Gap from one class to the next.

Class balance always changes. Whats strongest today can change in any balance pass. Pick which you think is coolest and power will come after
