What are your top 5 levels to play in MH1?

Reminder this is based on a dream I had and some things may seem out of order. There only a couple of key things I remember seeing in this dream. So if things may seem vague or don't add up to anything this is me not remembering everything that I seen and certain settings and characters might not match up completely with what I say. This is all dream fragments I've gathered.
So I had this dream where I was watching or at least playing a game that was supposed to be Manhunt 3 or at least something similar to it. It seemed like a cool concept to share here.
So it starts of as you playing as an unnamed protagonist and his goal is to get inside this building. It seemed to be located in this somewhat rural and urban environment. It was dark and it was raining. Imagine it like warehouse or industrial type of building. Maybe a sawmill but not certain. Above the protagonist is someone on watch a gang of some sort. Standing on a dock and a ladder leads up to him to potentially sneak up and perform on execution on him.
At someone point there is a cut scene of these gang members coming out of the "sawmill" trafficking women. These gang members were like pirates similar to the pirates from far cry 3 and a mix of the skinz and the innocetz.
At some point the protagonist sneaks into the entrance of the "Sawmill" the protagonist walks into this receptionist office and there are two receptionist women inside. They seem to be held there against their will and I think they are used as "guards" for the gang overtaking the sawmill. They spot the protagonist and he doesn't attack or run he just stares at them. This was meant to signify that this protagonist was more intimidating and more brutal the characters like James and Daniel. The receptionists leave the building immediately not caring what the gangs think. This was a cutscene sequence and not gameplay.
This was the big thing I remember that stuck with me in this moment. This is where it almost Manhunt 3 becomes more advanced than the other two games. The protagonist sneaks into this room its like a bathroom locker type of room with a kitchen. This is where the game introduces unique characters instead of it being like reused hunters or gangs. One hunter that stood out as this character which we will call Terrance. A very tall somewhat overweight but jacked light skin male. In this gameplay sequence Terrance is in a bathroom taking a shit while talking to a gang member that is using the urinal having a conversation with each other. Both of the men were naked. In their conversations it is implied that they are lovers and Terrance is a bisexual male.
The protagonist sneaks up on the gang member using a weapon of some sort. Can't remember exactly what it was but I'd imagine either a knife or a plastic bag. It introduced a new gameplay mechanic where during the execution there was a quick time event. Where you had to make sure the gang member couldn't get out of the execution and depending on how well its performed and how far you are go through it if they reach death near the end of the execution.
After that Terrance comes out of the bathroom and enraged and the protagonist has to fight off Terrance. It also introduces a new mechanic where you can perform environmental executions. Terrance is supposed to be a boss fight in this sequence. Similar to Piggsy. At some point the protagonist gets behind a fridge and tips on Terrance embolizing or injuring him. The protagonist then runs and hides from Terrance into a dark corner. I feeling a since of dread knowing Terrance would come looking for the protagonist.
This is as far as I remember the dream going. I figured I would share since its something that has been on my mind for a bit. It makes me think of the possibilities Rockstar could do for a Manhunt 3. Knowing damn well it's something that won't come to light. Though its nice to create concepts and discuss those ideas with people. Let me know what you guys think. I would love to have more discussions on this if anyone is interested

I mean, I really like Cash and Leo's designs
though I have to admit Cash's is a bit of a "tough guy" stereotype and Leo's looks pretty psychopathic (not that that's a criticism). As for Danny, I like both of his designs: present because he looks so innocent I can't quite put my finger on it, but it really gives off a wholesome vibe, while his past design feels like a great balance between an innocent look and a psychopathic side.

Personally I want a sequel set in nowadays. The plot will be focused on snuff content made for social media engagement.

Say what you will about the story of Manhunt 2, but one thing I never heard mentioned was the lack of an enemy like Ramirez or the Cerberus Leader, hell, the lack of boss fights in general. I feel it would have been great to have that kind of encounter; the very concept of a leader for the Watchdogs could have provided some closure to their role in the game, because the actual ending was disappointing.

In the mission Most Wanted in Manhunt 2, Danny/Leo kills a father who is just an innocent civilian. The scene becomes especially disturbing when his daughter witnesses her father's death and screams in horror. What makes it even worse is that the killing seems completely unnecessary.
Do you guys think James Earl Cash would have killed that man if he had been in Danny/Leo's place, or would he have left the father alone?
In Manhunt 1, Cash seems to target people who are just as bad as, or even worse than, himself. He doesn't seem like someone who would kill an innocent civilian without a reason.
What do you guys think? Would Cash have spared the father, or do you think he would have killed him anyway?

Asking this because seeing this screenshot from Casual Player 7's latest video reminds me a lot of the one corpse model in Half-Life 2 that uses a real life photo of a dead body from a medical autopsy book for its textures (look up corpse01 on Google to see it for yourself, be warned, it is very much NSFL). Something about the flesh textures and the singular eye really makes it look like it all could be referenced from something real.
Considering Half-Life 2 came out in 2004 and Manhunt came out just a year prior, there could be a potential chance that Rockstar North was also referencing (if not straight up using) photos from autopsy books alongisde Valve for in-game textures. Devs back then were really starved for resources on where to get pictures for bodily harm and clearly at least one game studio (Valve) went to extreme lengths to get theirs.
It's worth noting this was the game that almost caused an internal mutiny at Rockstar because of how uncomfortable devs were with the level of violence. Considering these are the same devs that just made GTA 3 just 2 years ago, where you could literally dismember innocent pedestrians limb for limb, it does make me wonder if there was something else going on during Manhunt's development that was just really pushing the bar for them.
And finally, of course, I could just be 100% talking out of my ass and this entire post is just wrong. Consider everything above as pure speculation.
Just remember, for years people thought that he Half-Life 2 burnt corpse texture looked a little too realistic to be just texture work. And it turned out they were right.

Manhunt 2 is the first and only game to ever make me feel genuinely uncomfortable playing and killing the father made me have to take a break
It’s completely irrational (I know it’s just pixels on a screen)
but the first time I played, this guy came running at me and without hesitation I aimed up and blew his head off, Manhunt 1 and 2 are already dark games but hearing the daughter scream combined with the music and how weirdly realistic/natural the kill looked and felt made me feel strange
I can’t really describe it but how fast my interaction with this guy was made it feel like I had actually killed someone that would never come back. And I have never in my life been unable to separate the game from reality, despite the graphics and knowing it’s not real (obviously) I felt so uneasy after
Did this happen for anyone else? How did you react to it?

Playing through the Manhunt 1 levels in Manhunt 2's Nostalgia mod, when I noticed the ladders are glitched. It hasn't been a problem until this level that I've already forgotten the name of despite playing it an hour ago.

I just find it really crazy how someone like him was able to convince the most vile and depraved gang of psychopaths you could find to be part of his snuff film ring I can't imagine that he just went up to every single one of them in person to talk when almost all of these guys would kill him before he opens his mouth.

Your opinions are welcome☺️

This may be an unpopular opinion amongst this subreddit, but imo the executions in Manhunt 2 are too gory.
It’s not even for the reason that I’m anti violence in media, I’m perfectly fine with that. But MH2’s executions are sometimes so cartoonishly graphic that they lose their meaning. Like almost every execution in MH2 results in a hunter’s head exploding. I feel like lots of the shock value of 1’s executions are how they look like they could be done IRL, which in a way makes them scarier.
I dunno, I feel like the executions are so over the top just because rockstar wanted to give censors the finger. And I totally understand the impulse but it bit them in the ass and made the game almost unsellable (this is totally still the fault of the censors but it is still true)
I also don’t know how I feel about Danny performing these executions. Leo, I can see, but not Dan. I know they’re the same guy but Daniel expresses disgust at performing an execution for the first time, and he seems really reluctant to hurt the nurse, so I find it out of character that he’d be doing executions that are so drawn out, grisly, and personal. I know he’s out of his mind but I don’t think that he’d be doing things like that consciously as Daniel. Cash from MH1 is clearly not a good guy but even his most violent executions are pretty tame compared to anything Daniel does. Maybe it would’ve been too much work to assign Dan and Leo different execution animations but I still think my point stands.
This is all just my opinion. If you’ve got a different perspective on Manhunt 2’s violence, lmk, if I’m genuinely wrong or missing smth just let me know and I’ll take that into consideration. Hope this made for interesting reading at least, lmk your opinion below and have a good rest of your day :)
