WOAH WOAH WOAH SUBTITLES!

I started this challenge about eight months ago, as a little entertainment, not believing that I would actually get to the end. Whenever I did something like this, I always gave up before finishing it, but here something always drew me back, even if I took breaks for a couple of months. And then, even though I lost engagement towards the end of this marathon, I finished the cards.

The Pokémon for the cards were chosen by community vote, and in cases when almost no one participated, I chose them myself.

I am very glad that this adventure happened. I've covered a lot of Pokemon that I like, I've tried different styles, tools and I've definitely learned something along the way.

And now I have a complete collection of Tarot card. It was cool.

idk

Sorry for putting this here, I couldn’t put it on the general Pokemon sub

Because Mega gives some Pokémon a lot of pain

he's so fun to use in Champions (he's on my team) but no one ever uses him because he dies to literally anything 😭

i really wish Mega Absol Z was better

I know the pose looks awkward, I’m not good at drawing something as complex as the legendaries, treat this as a rough draft.

Origin:
Yumeijim was always a fragile Pokemon. Despite being an extremely powerful pokemon on par with even Giratina, Yumeijim was very sympathetic to both Pokemon and People alike. It wanted to help build a world where everyone could achieve their wildest dreams, and it did so with its dream mist. With its mist it could grant the wishes from the dreams of others and make them into a reality.

Yumeijim served both of the Twin Heroes in the creation and shaping of the Unova region. When the brothers started fighting over how the region should be led it tried to appease both of their wishes, to no avail. Eventually the Heroes’ fighting grew worse and worse until there was a point where there was no appeal to one side without disregarding the other.

Disheartened and desperate to appease both brothers, Yumeijim split itself into Reshiram and Zekrom, leaving behind its shell: Kyurem, and effectively erasing its existence from the world.

However, there is a possibility that a part of Yumeijim may still be out there; its subconscious possibly staying intact even after all that has transpired; its mind floating in a dream-like state.

Name Meaning:
Wu Wei - “not-acting or non-doing”, “effortless action”
Yume - The Japanese word for Dream
Niji - The Japanese word for Rainbow (To reference that it is all)
im - Neutral ending (Zerkrom’s “om”, Reshiram’s “am”)
Sounds like “you may dream”

(Art by me. Enjoy this cute bean and have a good rest of your day ^ ^)

So I’m trying to make a comic. It still a work in progress but I definitely want to have a Mikey cameo of some kind in it.

“Its punches can break the hardest of materials and its can whitstand the harshest of situations. It has an innate sense of justice and will risk its own life to defend those in danger”

It evolves from Ledian by levelling up after defeating 20 dark types while holding the metal coat item

Headless Horseman Sordward

But not all for battle. I'll be using the Water-Type as the example here.

The story behind this Gym Trainer is that their town's harbor has been plagued with aggressive Pokemon for centuries. Why are they so aggressive? Maybe the ocean is cursed or smth idk. Normally the Gym Leader doesn't get involved, but this Gym Leader is obviously different. They've focused on putting more powerful Pokemon onto their "rescue" team (the team they use to defend against the aggressive Pokemon) (I know Floatzel and Lapras aren't the strongest Pokemon, but lore-wise they're suited well for the rescue role), and puts more mid-tier Pokemon into their Gym Team in order to both keep their status as Gym Leader and make sure that their Rescue Pokemon aren't always tired out. The "therapy" team is there to comfort survivors and the Gym Trainer bc they're lowk always five seconds away from a panic attack unless they see their Ludicolo do his silly little dance every day. I chose Pokemon that are either really dopey looking or lore-wise very chill.

I also just think it'd be funny if they mega-evolved Gyarados, Golisopod and Sharpedo all at once and just obliterated every hostile Pokemon in their path.

IDK what else to say for this example. Uhhh... I really like Milotic?

I was wondering about this day when I used it. Also, Ribombee is good against Fighting. I don’t want to spoil you guys.
