Hi! I’m 25f moving to Manchester for work! I love pop music, pop culture, tv/film (amc a lister) and would love to make some likeminded (preferably) girl friends and build a community in the city! Looking for friends, not a relationship, no creepy dms. I’m very progressive, 420 friendly although not a huge stoner anymore. Would love to explore what New Hampshire has to offer! I like hiking, exercise and I have a cat! Love the Celtics, comedy, college basketball, reality tv and MLB! Moving from the Midwest so any midwesterners hmu!! :-)

I started a new job and am communicating south and back on the Everett turnpike. Started about a week ago and almost every day has been close to stop and go traffic most of the drive...

Is it always like this? Do I just need to budget time and expect severe traffic daily? Thanks

I’ve already been to St. Joseph’s but I’m looking to find other churches in the city to pray

When I first moved to Manchester, I had gotten Xfinity Wi-Fi. However when they started charging me over $150 a month, I decided to switch to Fidium. I work from home and a strong Wi-Fi connection is important to me. If you have Fidium you'll know that the Wi-Fi is experiencing periodic outages over the past few days. Fidium won't give any timeline for resolving this problem, and honestly its unacceptable for someone who relies on strong wifi to do their job properly

I'm looking for alternatives and was wondering if anyone switched from Xfinity or Fidium over to Starlink for their main Wi-Fi provider? If so, Have you experienced outages in this area and do you find the connection to be more reliable than Xfinity or Fidium?

We are excited to announce our first ever Scary Pride! Please join us for a free night of community, (optional) costumes, light refreshments and music. This is an 18+ event. Allies are welcome.

Edit: The venue is the Unitarian Universalist Church but this isn’t a religious event. The venue has a lift for anyone who can’t use stairs.

🥁 Looking for Serious Musicians to Start a Band and Record an Album! 🎸
I’m a drummer who’s been playing since I was 8 years old, and I also write my own lyrics. I’m looking for talented, dedicated musicians who are passionate about music, open to playing different styles and genres, and serious about creating something real.
I have a plan for recording an album, along with a ton of original lyrics I’ve written that I want to bring to life. I already have around 7 tracks in the works, and I’m looking for the right people to collaborate with, experiment with different sounds, and turn these ideas into finished songs.
I also have a bunch of equipment available for us to use, so we’ll have some of the tools we need to start creating, rehearsing, and recording.
I’m not just looking to jam occasionally. I want to find musicians who share the same drive, are willing to put in the time and effort, and genuinely want to work together to produce an album.
If you’re a talented guitarist, bassist, vocalist, keyboardist, or another musician who takes music seriously and wants to be part of an original project, I’d love to hear from you.
I have the ideas, the lyrics, a plan, and the drive. Now I’m looking for the right people to help bring it all to life. Let’s make something real. 🤘🎶
Message me if you’re interested!

Not my car Apparently someone this weekend is going around and smashing windows on cars this weekend in Manchester. This isn't the 1st time this weekend as well. Strongly advise to park somewhere with cameras this weekend, or park somewhere off the streets till the police find the guy at least. Doesn't even look like the guy tried to get in either. Just stay safe everyone!

We've been having a ton of fun at The Moka Pot lately. I can't believe we've only been doing these shows for 4 months. We've already seen so many incredible sets from numerous amazing comics. It's not stopping. This coming Saturday we have the incredible Daniel Simonsen taking the stage for 2 shows with Brian Rojas hosting, a feature set from Ben Chadwick and a couple guest spots from Kaity Tessier and Sadie Burgess. Get tickets now. Later in the month we have the great Sam Miller on a Monday night for 1 show only and tickets are moving fast. When they are gone they are gone. Hey y’all! My band is looking for a professional bassist who has recording and gigging experience in the New Hampshire area.

We record new original music in my studio, and are gearing up to start booking for 2027, with commitments already on the books for next year.

The music is mostly country leaning, with Americana, folk, blues, rock, pop, even jazz and reggae thrown in.

I have a ton of new music in varying stages of production. I’m looking for a pro bass player who has recording experience, who can track parts either at home or in my in studio in southern NH. The ideal musician will hear and compose unique bass parts, and can contribute their own artistry to the music.

We are also looking forward to a fantastic 2027 of gigging a couple times a month. We would like to focus more on listening rooms, rather than the late night bar scene. We will try to keep shows within a one hour drive from southern NH, but will expand out from there for the right venue.

If any of this sounds good to you, check out our website at blue22studio.com or email me.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you!

🚨 MISSING PERSON — PLEASE HELP FIND TAYLOR CRICHTON 🚨

We are asking for the public’s help locating Taylor Crichton, 28 years old, who was last seen on the morning of September 21, 2026, after being dropped off at the Price Rite plaza in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Taylor is approximately 5’10” and 180–200 lbs, with fair skin, salt-and-pepper hair, and bright blue eyes.

Last seen wearing:

A black sweatshirt with a Halloween pumpkin on it
A baseball hat
Carrying a black backpack
Taylor does not have a phone, making it especially difficult to reach him.

It is very unlike Taylor to go missing or lose contact with close friends and family. We are extremely concerned and just want to know that he is safe.

Taylor could be anywhere from New Hampshire to the Boston area or the North Shore of Massachusetts. Please keep an eye out, share this post, and help us reach as many people as possible across these areas.

🙏 If you have seen Taylor or have ANY information, no matter how small it may seem, please contact:

📞 LJ: 978-382-7402

📍 Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department

Please do not assume someone else has already reported a sighting. Even the smallest piece of information could make a difference.

PLEASE SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! Someone out there may have seen Taylor without realizing he is missing. We just want Taylor home safe. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share this and help spread the word.

The New Hampshire Soccer Project group is having a town hall style meeting at Republic Brewing in Manchester on Tuesday, October 20th from 5-7pm. While I'm not associated with the group, I'm definitely interested in New Hampshire getting it's own professional soccer team. I know from previous posts of mine that there were a fair few of us that thought Portsmouth was too far to go, well, here you go. Hey, come on by even if you aren't a fan of soccer but want something from NH and for NH to root for!

Below is the Instagram, which is really the only social media and they post often.

My wife and I are moving to southern NH from the Midwest in the first week of November. I have a job ready to go in Salem, NH and she’s probably going to be taking a job in either Nashua or Derry. We’ve seen a couple of promising places to rent in and around Manchester, and while there’s a bit of a commute, it’s not too bad. The biggest thing we’re trying to see is what schools are like as we have three kids 4 and under, and whether an area is safe (relatively.) Any advice would be welcome, and I can give specifics on places we’ve looked at if that would be helpful! Thank you!

Anyone know of breakfast and Eagles for tomorrow around Manchester?

One of my favorite things about booking nationally touring comics is getting to pair some of my favorite up and coming local comedian friends with some incredible talent and put them in a lively room of comedy fans where they can really shine. In this case I'm adding these two ladies to do a quick sets at our Daniel Simonsen shows on October 17th(just over a week away). I've gotten to watch both of these 2 work hard and become killers. Come have some fun with them!

Does anyone remember the band CrowneVict from Manchester? They are hands down one of the best bands EVER. I love their album 'A Method To Feel Alive'. I've been searching for a copy of their album for so long. It was in one of those fancy super jewel cases. Did anyone here have any? I've contacted the band members and they are out. I'd love to own any of their material. Thank you.

30s gent wondering where I can find a single mature women tonight? I don’t drink so don’t really go out to bars

I’ve seen some great advice on here, yet also a lot of contradicting and outdated advice. My partner and I have decided to move to Manchester for 6 months as I work remotely and we are currently working toward him being able to do the same so that we can live our dream of traveling come the spring. We have to stay in the general area in the meantime due to some family responsibilities/events. We found a 2 bed apartment with all utilities included for much less than we were paying at our leased apartment with no utilities included which will help in saving for our adventures! I’ve always lived in typical quiet very safe suburban neighborhoods and I’m really looking forward to embracing some city life! I’m not overly worried or scared about “bad areas”, but genuinely curious to hear people’s thoughts on the specific area. We will be right on Union St, on the south end by Somerville. I do consider myself reasonably smart and don’t plan on taking long walks alone late at night lol, other than that would you consider the general area safe for a daily morning/afternoon walk? Any insight and also recommendations of food to try, places to see and experience etc would be greatly appreciated!

About 2 and half weeks away until the hilarous Sam Miller joins us for an unforgettable special Monday night performance. I very excited to watch the larger than life(metaphorically and literally) Sam bring the house down in our cozy space.

Was just wondering if any bars around here are designated cowboys game day bars. I am looking for a place to watch TNF with some other cowboys fans.

TLDR: Daniel Simonsen in Manchester October 17th More info and tickets at https://vist.ly/5mez7

Katy Coughlin had to drop from this show and we've replaced her with Brian Rojas in the hosting role. Brian was recently selected as a finalist in Empire Comedy's Comedy Classic competition in Portland, ME. He was top 3 out of 64, but unfortunately couldn't make the final event so we will never know if he would have beaten out Moka Pot alumn Ethan Cannon. But we do know the he will be here with us on October 17th and Daniel Simonsen will be as well. Ben Chadwick will being a nice long set right before our headliner. We may add another surpirse as well.

We had a very successful evening Friday night with a nearly full house coming through to see our "Fresh Meat" showcase headlined by Forrest Shaw. This is going to become a monthly event and the next one will be on November 7th headlined by Tyler Hittner. Tickets on sale now. Tickets are on sale for our December 12th edition at a discounted rate of only 10 dollars until we announce the line up so buy early and save! Also announcing today, Matt Ruby headlining in January. Tickets for that will be available soon so save the date and be on the lookout for tickets! We have 2 more incredible shows left in October with Daniel Simonsen and Sam Miller. There's truly something for everyone. Come see the best new comedy room in New England for yourself.
