Not really my thing per se as far as cars go, but my dad was really into this style of cars when he was alive so it reminds me of him

I love the creativity with the Toyota's ''Branding/Advertising'' in using the Majorette name and branding as the racing team the car is racing for.

Hello all can you let me know are the cars 1:64 scale same as Matchbox and Hotwheels.

Since (as far as i can tell) except for a very small few exceptions Majorette seems to only do cars as far back as 1960 i have compromised to add some matchbox to my collection to get in some cars from the 1950's, 1940's and 1930's (and even older if possible).

And i will say that while the matchbox cars are not bad looking by any stretch their level of detail is somewhat ''cheaper'' than majorette. For example the grill and the ''spokes'' of the grill on the Opel are not molded but rather seem to either be painted on or to be some kind of sticker/tamp and i noticed tha twhile Majorette used clear plastic for most headlights Matchbox headlights are part of the cast/mold and are painted in multiple shades of black and grey to simulate plastic/glass

I included 2 pictures of the Matchbox Opel Kadett next to my Majorette Toyota Celica for a visual quality/detail comparison.

Really lucked out

Been looking for the non pick-up version of the VW T1 van for a while now and lo and behold what i saw in a toy store i happened to just pass by on my way to an appointment.

Eating your veggies & collecting 1:64 diecast cars are both peak wellness. Veggies give you fiber & lowers cholesterol; diecast cars give you pure, raw dopamine & provide intense cardio when you sprint toward a fresh Hot Wheels dump bin at Target. Plus, spending all your money on tiny cars guarantees you can't afford fast food!

Today's find: Majorette VW Originals 2-Vehicle Sets.

The others that come to my mind are the 2024 motor show, 2025 nightburnerz, latest ferrari 5 pack. But this all black and all great cars takes the cake

Been hunting majorettes for 3 years and they have some really great castings and a reasonable price for those details. Though majorette is one of the smallest collections I currently have in my room I decided to complete this series cause out of the cars from this series from the past it wasn't that much if my type but when I saw these I loved it. I started with the civic cause I like the ek9, then I saw the skyline cause the purple finish just looks so good, then the supra cause supra, then the silvia cause I like the gold color and black hood, then found the chase, fairlady Z, and the s2000 just today and Im really happy how I was able to complete this series through the year. Any thoughts or any other series you have completed and the reason why?

Randomly went inside my usual toy store and found these treasures laying around.

Had to cop these three 🤤🤤

Majorette casting, like the matte black here
