A guy working in the drive thru drew this for me!
He said he liked my Kirby shirt! And as I was eating my food I saw the napkin! So cute!

Favorite People The pilot on my flight from DC to San Francisco proposed to his high school sweetheart, more than 30 years after their story began ❤️
They’ve known each other since they were 15. College, marriages, and life took them in different directions, but eventually they found their way back to each other.
This morning was their first United flight together, him as the captain and her as a passenger. He marked the occasion with a proposal.
Was expecting coffee and a long nap. Got a love story instead. 💕

ANIMALS The world's oldest gopher tortoise (104 years old), Gus, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, had surgery to remove a bladder stone yesterday. He's doing well!
Gus is the beloved gopher tortoise at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is 104 years old and everyone says Gus has been old since they were a kid. He had a bladder stone that was being monitored and it needed to be removed, so yesterday he had surgery and it was a success. He's recovering well and will be back at the Museum in a few days or few weeks to continue his recovery.
Fun fact: I've seen Gus in person! He's a grumpy looking little fellow.

Father son boding time in the year of our Lord 2007
Found this old image of me and my late father bonding over playing the Wii. Knowing me it was more than likely that one monster truck game (not Mario kart)

Helping Others Interview with Mary Jane Rathbun, or “Brownie Mary”, who baked thousands of cannabis brownies in the 1980s for people with cancer and AIDS. She was arrested three times for it, and she only stopped because of her arthritis.

CATS I left the house to pick up one cat, came home with two
My husband has always wanted an American Curl. It took us a while but finally we found an ethical breeder with available kitten. On our way to pick up the kitten, the breeder asked me if we would take another cat, who was surrounded by her past owner for being too needy and the owner didn't have enough time to spend with her after returning to the office. The breeder took the cat back and she was free to her clients. I wasn't sure in the beginning (4 cats in the house already lol) but the moment I saw her in person I knew she had to come home with me. She turns out to be a big purr machine and professional biscuits maker. Definitely the best BOGO I've received!

CATS Little magpie did that too himself! [OC]
He loves everything sparkly and secretly stole my friends daughters sticky rhinestones, but can't denke his crimes anymore now!
Took a while to get bling off of him again^^

Wholesome Moments [OC] Get to know Eddie and Prudance
A little random moment but those are especially touching from my point of view.
Just visiting Edinburgh for a few days, and taking a look into the random books lying around inside a pub. Something with a little dust on it, for sure no one took a look the past decades. Today I learned something about two individuals saying a few words important for all of us.
Today I got to know two people who might have passed already. Today I knew Prudence and his Eddie.
*Eddie,*
*May the memories of these happy days brighten our more difficult ones of the future.*
*My love always,*
*Prudence.*
