I'm old, so for me the pizza and soda was usually only coming out if it was raining outside and a cart with a TV and VCR was getting pushed into the classroom to watch Homeward Bound for the 14th time.
Your comment made me realize that people probably dont have to (though I know some people do by choice) watch the same media a thousand times anymore. When I was a kid, we had a couple of movies, and I burned them out.
Not trying to be old man shaking his hand at clouds. Just a cool thing to think about.

I mean- I was in fact hype af when the teacher gave us thin slices of yummy pizza and a cup of sugar cola. It was free, it was different, it was fun
