That is one hell of a great workout.

The amusement of others is a great aspect, but it's pretty clear that the workout is beneficial. I'm glad she'll be able to enjoy viewing the amusement later, if she survives.

I would laugh too, all while thinking "But, but, but... look how FIT she is! She may be onto something here."

I thought Yakkety Sax was the perfect soundtrack. It makes anything funnier.

Hey, you could have recognized it as a Boots Randolph hit from the 50s, so at least you aren’t that old.

Would be especially funny of she had a speaker playing that music out loud while running.

While it's not perfect, it's far better than the random TikTok shit we usually get.

Did she just rob a bank and is now trying to get away from Batman who is being portrayed by Adam West?

That’s not your friend.
That’s a well known prank video where they fart loudly near people and have that woman run through crowds and record their reactions.

I’m not sure if it’s ok to laugh. Dues she have a condition that makes her run that way?

u/canardyyy 17h ago
I've ran/walked like this when I really had to shit. Hope she find the bathroom soon

Maybe it’s just me, but it makes me kinda sad that people make that much fun of her. I can see doing a double take but mocking someone and collapsing laughing seems odd to me.
Maybe it’s bc I’ve dealt with disability myself, my first thought would be the person was dealing with some sort of physical issue or maybe a cognitive one. Maybe it’s bc I’m in a huge city and see really odd people/things often that this wouldn’t faze me.
I see I’m in the minority here but that’s my takeaway from this is a little sadness that people care that much what anyone else is doing.

IDK - the way I read it was her style of “running” is so obviously more difficult to pull off than regular running, that the people laughing had to realize it was a joke (or I guess some kind of niche workout)? Regardless, this woman is in amazing shape - obviously not dealing with a disability.

Jesus fucking Christ, get a fucking grip. It’s really not that serious.

u/Bellecarde 15h ago
People like this are why everything is so censored and pg these days, god forbid somebody do a funny run without somebody saying its mocking disabled people

I didn’t take issue with the person running. I was confused why the people walking by thought it was THAT funny. And for full grown adults to physically mock someone is just strange. Call me all the names you want. I expected this reaction from the usual “get a grip it’s not that serious you must be fun at parties crowd”. Knock yourself out.

I was actually gonna say I thought it was sweet how most of the people waited till she passed to laugh .
That one group with their phones out and actively mocking her I didn’t like either , so I feel u on that if she was actually someone with a condition.1
u/ManzanitaSuperHero 10h ago
That’s the one that bothered me the most. The full on physical mocking and recording someone really was gross.
I guess it’s polite that they wait til she passed?
I’m probably more sensitive to this bc I’ve spent several years in a wheelchair and you can feel this kind of thing happening as you pass and it gets so old and it just sucks. It’s not everyone, but enough people react negatively that it colors the perception of “jokes” like this.
Of course I’ve gotten the expected “get a grip it’s a joke” comments which I expected.
I just wish people would live and let live a bit more. Admittedly, maybe this “prank” hit a little too close to actual lived experience to be funny for me.

Ya they were very distasteful , gave off very immature vibes
And I can totally see that, makes sense that it would kinda rub u
The other ones I completely understand bc u can’t help if something tickles ur brain or just looks funny out of context , but they actively held in their laughter as to not make the person feel uncomfortable and I think that’s in good jest

You must be a hoot at parties! Lighten up, Francis, this is the most harmless kind of joke there is out there in this day and age.
1
u/ManzanitaSuperHero 10h ago
And you must be fun at parties using the most tired line on Reddit ever: “you must be fun at parties”.
I almost even included a note in my comment to not bother with the “fun at parties” bit. It’s so predictable.

u/YeahIAmAScientist 10h ago
I see you’re easily triggered. Maybe I should have said “You’re quite the Debbie Downer, aren’t you?”
1
u/ManzanitaSuperHero 10h ago
No one here is triggered. Just chuckling at the utterly predictable and tired response given. But I see your well is deep with other cutting witticisms like “Debbie Downer”. Quite the wordsmith!
When someone objects to something they don’t find funny, it is the laziest possible response to say they’re “not fun”, “triggered”, a “downer” or “PC”. Your comments aren’t even interesting or original.
I’ve had my fill of cliches for one day. No need to continue here.

She's doing a bit specifically to make people laugh, and you're upset they're laughing at her bit. Get a grip.
1
u/ManzanitaSuperHero 10h ago
A predictable response. The usual “you must be fun at parties” “get a grip” comments. That’s fine. Knock yourself out.
As I mentioned to someone else, my biggest objection was those physically mocking and filming her.
And admittedly, I’m probably a bit more sensitive than most to this kind of “joke”. I’ve spent several years in a wheelchair and a lot of people are incredibly cruel when you’re in a chair. Not everyone, but you feel people make comments and snicker as you pass. So this bit hit a little too close to my actual lived experience to be funny to me.

There are quite a few vids by her and some blokes. I’m sure the guy farting in public is part of the gang? The reactions to her running vids are brilliant though.

I feel she is probably burning more calories and doing more work than regular running 🏃♂️.

Context, please? Is her intent laughter or does she have a disability that she powers through?
