My best friend from high school dated some really hot girls. Then one day after college we were roommates and he brought home a girl with progeria that looked a little like sloth from the Goonies. They got along great and dated for a while. What I learned from that is, a cool chick will always be a cool chick, but often a hot chick is just hot.

There's nothing that prevents a person who is attractive from developing their natural intelligence through education and becoming an empathetic person. But society is far too willing to fawn over beautiful people and tell them that they don't need to waste their times on such difficult pursuits.
