My sister broke up with her boyfriend on the spot when he did this. He had many other… toxic traits… but when he showed up at her friends birthday party in another state as a “surprise”, she told him to go back home, pack up his shit, and be out of the house by the time she got back.

I think you responded to the wrong comment. But to answer your question, the caption in the video does say on at least one of the couples that it was her birthday.
