Why don't I get injuries?

I rarely get injuries in my franchise for some reason and if I do it's usually the training injuries or injuries where they're out for a quarter or so then they return. Is this a glitch or Is there any way to fix this? I would like to have it to where they miss a couple games or so and my injury slider is at 43 already
