Background image doesn't change

Hey guys,

Can anyone help me? I recently changed my background image settings to change the picture every 12 hours, but nothing changed and it shows the same picture every time. I asked an AI about it, and it said that this feature doesn’t work with the default Apple backgrounds, but only with pictures from my own library. I can’t believe that’s true. Can anyone help me fix this?

For a lot of the built in Apple wallpapers the 12 hour timer never applies, because those are Dynamic Desktop HEIC files that shift with time of day instead of cycling a folder. Put a few of your own photos in a folder, pick that folder under Desktop and Dock, then turn on Change picture. Also check Low Power Mode, since it can pause wallpaper rotation.

So basically you can’t use the feature with apples own wallpapers?😂
