The method combines etching, in situ intercalation and delamination in one process, producing 74% single- or few-layer MXene, with an electrical conductivity of 7500 S cm⁻¹. No separate post-etching delamination step is needed.

Hello everyone! I’m trying to create a layer by layer mxene deposition using mxene and B-PEI but so far I obtained terrible results, do someone knows the exact procedure or some tricks that are not mentioned in papers?
So far I’m following the procedure described here:

Instead of a nice mxene film I’m obtaining a dishomogeneus film.

I am doing my masters thesis on Ti3AlC2, I need to find the composition of residual wAste generated by MILD synthesis.

MXene Ti3C2 ‘clay’ has a layered structure that can be easily sheared, creating fantastic forms on the microscale. This is an SEM image of Ti3C2 stacks that have been partially sheared along the basal planes, giving the appearance of books, and has been colorized to emphasize the likeness.
