Reddit runs on communities.

And communities run on moderators.

The people who build, protect, and maintain Reddit’s communities work for free while the platform generates value and shareholders reap the rewards.

It’s time to change that.

PAY. THE. MODS.

We’re turning the people behind Reddit into stakeholders in its future.

Introducing MOD/RDDT.
3% rewards tax
30% of supply locked in the Treasury until 2094
100% liquidity locked

The mission? Build a Treasury capable of acquiring enough Reddit stock to secure a seat at the boardroom table.

No more being overlooked. No more being taken for granted.

The people who keep Reddit alive deserve a voice in how it’s run.

Mods built the communities. Now it’s time to build their stake.

Can I join the team? I can whip up some memes

The reddit mod meme is a long-standing internet trope, in which volunteer moderators on Reddit, exaggerating traits like power trips, social isolation, and extreme fragility.
Here are the core elements that define the meme:

- They do it for free
This is the ultimate foundation. Memes constantly highlight the absurdity of people working 16-hour days enforcing obscure forum rules for exactly $0.00/hour. They are often referred to as "janitors”, because they clean up spam for free.

- Powertrip
In internet culture, the Reddit mod is portrayed as someone who lacks authority in their real life and compensates by ruling their subreddit like an absolute dictator.

- The neckbeard stereotype
Reddit mods are almost universally drawn as the classic "internet neckbeard". overweight, wearing a fedora, living in a basement, and consuming a steady diet of Doritos and Mountain Dew.

- Over regulation and power Mods
Memes often target Power Mods, a small group of hyper-active users who moderate hundreds of the largest subreddits simultaneously. Community members joke that these mods control the entire platform's narrative and delete high-quality posts simply because they violated a minor formatting rule.
