Is it just me or are the blue line trains shorter than usual this week. Every car feels a lot more crowded as well.

Anyone know what’s up with the World Cup signage and decor at the stations? Is it ever coming down or will it all just casually become ingrained in the stations. Like I don’t mind it too much since it adding overdue decoration but it will be kind of tacky after a while

Not an issue report, just wanted to post and see if others have been having a particularly rough go of it on the southbound red line as of late? 5 times in the past 2 weeks, and two being the last two days in a row I've just flat out stopped for upwards of 10-15 minutes with no explanation?

gonna most likely be taking marta tomorrow for phoebe bridgers, and will be taking the blue line from Hamilton Holmes. what time should i arrive to park and is it pretty safe to do so?

i assumed it was to ruffle bus tracking on and off but it never shows the busses and the bottom button literally doesn’t do anything.

It’s my first time seeing it in person and it’s very nice inside. Can’t wait to ride it, whenever that is haha

Of course these morons failed to post an alert on the MARTA app for the Pride Parade. All the buses are stuck at Midtown. 😒

I don't understand why the basic infrastructure of MARTA is so poor. I tried (and failed?) to catch #11 that was due to arrive at Clifton and Fishburne at 8:52 AM. I tried to catch the prior bus, but the tracker showed it was stuck near CVS.

The tracker showed the 8:52 bus was on time and caught up to the prior bus, which I assume broke down because heaven forbid they update the Alerts.

Since my stop is several stops after Fishburne, I made sure to arrived before 8:52 AM to ensure I made that bus. It's now 9:18 AM and STILL NO BUS!

I click on the route map at 9AM and suddenly it is showing two buses bunched up at the front of the line and the CVS bus disappeared from the map. Of course, the westbound bus that was just already tracking on Clifton is no longer on the map.

I click on the "next" bus that's leaving. It shows there is a bus at Midtown. I have no idea what the fuck is going on because the tracker can't accurately locate its own bus! That could be the CVS bus or the 8:52 bus.

Buses being late or breaking down don't bother me because shit happens. I just ask for an accurate tracker so I can plan accordingly. There are 4 major telematics companies with offices right here in Atlanta. There is zero reason for MARTA to have such raggedy shit!

I don't know how the sick and elderly use this system.

Not long ago I realized that weekend nighttime service is better than the weekday due to the simple fact that the Red Line runs to the Airport (when they aren’t doing their regular single tracking). Is there a reason why it always terminates at Lindbergh on weekdays? 10 minute frequencies on the interlined portions makes a big difference.

So I am about to miss the #17, which runs every 30 minutes and was already cancelled at 2:01 PM because I have to tap my card upstairs to get into the station, then tap out downstairs to access the bus bay. Since I just tapped my card, it will not let me out.

I'm at the point where I can't figure out if the people who run MARTA are idiots, sadists, or both.

I’ve had this question for a long time, In 2006-2009, could a unrefurbished MARTA 310 or 311 could be ran in a consist with refurbished ones or 312s? Theres only a few videos and photos of Marta trains around this time, so I wonder if both versions of these cars could run together in a consist in passenger service or if they couldn’t I assume not but correct me if I’m wrong

First time taking MARTA to a Sunday night game. How early should I be at the station for parking lol? Hamilton Holmes station.

I usually take the train for 1pm games, so I know how to time it, but this is my first time taking it for a night game. Wondering what's a good time to get there for parking purposes as I know this station fills up fast.

Having lived in places like NYC, this sight is more common with routes that run sub ten minute frequencies. Annoying but tolerable. But this? Here? Half the time the transponders don’t work so it’s a guessing game if the bus exists and where it might be.

There’s got to be a better way to smooth out service if something happens. Same goes for the trains for that matter. An every five minute service average is meaningless if there five trains in 10 minutes and then 25 min gap

MARTA started replacing the station faregates over a year ago, with installation starting at Lindbergh September 2025. My daily commute is to and from North Ave and Medical Center, both of which don't have the new gates. I mean, North Ave does on the south side of the station, but not the north, so I'm still riding for free.

How may stations are the same?

I'm confused as to why they've done every logical combination of days except a 5 day pass considering a normal work week for the average customer should be 5-4 days, and for students within the secondary and higher education range it's definitely going to be the average of 5 and below. Am I missing some kind of fundamental reason here?

We have all experienced thr buses running late, trains shutting down, and our days are completely disregulated due to how MARTA has been running.
