Libreoffice offline help open only on notepad qq as HTML codes on my Lubuntu 26.04

I am new to Linux. I am using Libreoffice and I open the offline help by using F1. But the help file opens up on notepad qq. And it is just HTML code and not easy to read. I want to open the offline help file in a readable format like Firefox or something.

How do I set default app for opening a specific file type?

You could try to find the file, right mouse file properties and select / change the default program that opens html-files. It should work just fine.

Looks like the file is html so should open by default in a browser. Do you have a browser installed?

file:///usr/share/libreoffice/help/en-US/text/swriter/main0000.html

If you copy the above into a browser window it should be readable (your path name may be slightly different).
