Hey all, I hope someone can come up with some creative ideas for getting a setup for traveling out of a backpack for an extended period of time. I currently have a TC Ditto plugged into some cheap amp. I like to travel abroad for extended periods and typically do so out of a carry on sized backpack... I typically forego guitar playing for months at a time or buy a cheap acoustic that I sell or give away when I leave. Anyway, I'm wondering if there is some kind of setup that I could use, maybe with my laptop or headphones, that I could have with me so as to be able to play while traveling. Some kind of headphone setup on my laptop would be best, if that's a thing. I'm not tech inclined, so if you had any ideas I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Been working on splitting my RC-600 into 3 outputs so FOH gets vocal, guitar, and sampler/drums on their own lines instead of one stereo smoosh. Tonight's clip is where it's at right now. Still chasing the low end on the guitar bass line, and vocal level & clarity. I'm loving the "fitness" headset not too expensive $99 and pretty clean, no feedback

Got some live shows booked and coming up fast 😅 so I'm trying to lock this in before then.

Anyone running a similar 3-out setup? Curious how you're routing it and whether you use the mixer settings or keep it simple on the tracks.

I don't like bothering you people again after that firmware question but..I don't know how to just press the record pedal and start playing the instrument then have the recorded loop start instantly after I press it once again(not twice) I have it so it starts recording as soon as I start playing but when I press it again when I finished playing there's a blank space before it starts playing back..I have it set to Record- Play in the settings not Record-Overdub-Play..it seems to be syncing to the Rhythm section

hello - I have these machines:

• Boss RC505
• MacBook Pro running GarageBand (beginner here) (Tahoe OS)
• Casio Privia PX-160
• headphones until I get speakers

I am looking to connect all machines to live jam. I have already installed the drivers on the computer and changed the RC505 settings to audio/midi + loop in.

I am basically brand new to all of this besides keyboard skills. I have watched a lot of tutorials but don't know which things to connect to what with conflicting information.

Before I ask my question, here’s my setup.

Track 1: Single mode
Track 2 Multi mode
Track 3: Single mode
Track 4: Multi mode
Track 5/6 unused.

I am trying to use tracks 1&2 for part A and tracks 3&4 for part B.

I have the Single Track Start settings for both single tracks set to end of loop.

Is there a way to also have tracks 2 and 4 start when the actual playback of their respective single tracks start?

What I am experiencing is that with my current assigns, the playback for the multi tracks starts right away and the single tracks wait for the end of loop to begin. I want the tracks associated to part A to start at the same time (same for part B) but am having trouble getting that set up with assigns. Can someone help please?

Hi! I made, er, um, my nemesis Pirate Bexley made an instrument that we can all use. Scroll to Bird Flute. There’s also Frozen Pipe Organ at the bottom to create drone notes. I run this into my pedal board or into guitar pick ups and loop!

The Bird Flute is also a way to get others involved in our music who do not know an instrument but they can use the emoticons to improvise melodies with emotion.

Hey all. Been on Loopy Pro for about 3 years. It's great but for multiple reasons I plan to switch back to hardware. My overarching reason is that I'm tired of the whole iOS ecosystem. (Namely the ipad fragility and Apple's bullshit as well as I'm craving a screenless experience) In addition I'm making an exit from personal computing devices in my personal life and want to do the same for my live performance music rig. My previous hardware looper was a Boomerang III so I'm not to up on the current hardware. I'm really looking at the RC-600 as well as 505 MK2. I'm thinking not looking at my feet som much could be a good thing for audience connection. What would you recommend in the hardware realm of loopers in 2026? TIA

I made this video 3 years ago... Looping is performed through a stand-alone software called one guitar band, running on a computer. The foot switch controller simpy sends midi commands to the software. Drums and bass production is performed in real time inside the software and everything works with the use of an ordinary acoustic guitar. Hope some of you may find it interesting!

I’m using a boss dd7 for the guitar and boss RC-505 for the rest of the instruments.

My new track with Boss RC-505mk2. This time I finally made use of the second input, allowing me to play 2nd instrument while recording the first one. Also, first time used triggers and chain recording, when one track switching from record to play triggers record start on the next one. Such a versatile machine!

Synchronized looping is best characterized for me by Ed Sheeran. Asynchronous looping is best characterized for me by Brian Eno. I prefer the latter.

I loop with three to five cheap, stand-alone Lekato loopers. I deliberately do not synchronize my loopers. I am very much influenced by Music for Airports and Terry Riley.

Anyone else approaching looping like this?

This is what happens when I unzipp the folder..and it clearly shows that the folder that contains the files that your are supposed to copy and paste into the Boss rc 3oo folder aren't there..I also checked the boxes in File Explorer in Windows to show hidden files and file extensions
