Musical Guest Rasolía rocked!
I had heard about Rosalía but never took the plunge into her music until her appearance over the weekend. Now I’ve been through her discography and I’m hooked. Shoutout to whoever is booking the musical guests this year. Aside from Katseye, it’s been great!
Anyone else “discover” a musical guest/s through SNL?

Back 9n those days, I was discovering them from radio. If you were able to get your label to pay to be played on Z100 back in the day, you were a hit.

I think I've discovered a few, but boygenius is the main one that comes to mind.
Never heard of them, saw them on SNL, they ROCKED IT, I quickly became a fan and expanded into more of their music and still listen to it regularly.

I have known about Rosalía for a while now, I definitely thought she was pretty popular. I discovered Noah Kahan and Olivia Dean from SNL. Also Role Model and Sombr lol but in a negative way.

Rosalia has over 25 million listeners on Spotify. She's very popular and very critically acclaimed, this sub just doesn't follow music to any real level

I feel like I’m alone on this. I could tell that she has a great voice but the songs themselves were pretty bad. 🤷🏻♂️

Give the entirety of Lux a listen might change your mind.
Her first appearance when Zoe Kravitz hosted was awesome as well! This was around the time Motomami was on the charts.
