Discussion Libya has the resources. Where’s the future?

We sit on Africa’s largest oil reserves. That wealth should mean good schools, reliable electricity, proper healthcare, and opportunities for young people.

Oil alone won’t build that future. We need skills, businesses, accountable institutions, and investment beyond oil. What’s one practical project young Libyans could start together?

Libya needs a new revolution led by its youth
We need to change the thieves that rule the country
Unless that happens I don’t see Libya ever becoming an actual country.

Maybe cause we haven't had a proper government in 57 years

I'd start with small food-processing businesses. Young Libyans could work together to produce, package, and distribute products we currently import.

We don't need to wait for massive industrial projects to start building our economy. Small businesses can create jobs, develop skills, and eventually grow into larger industries.
