Posting guitars for sale

Lately I've seen a few posts where people are trying to sell their lefty guitars. I have no problem with this, but I will ask if you are going to post one for sale to follow the following:

  • Put the [SALE] tag in front of your title (i.e. [SALE] Original Les Paul Lefty)
  • Describe the guitar to the best of your ability. Neck radius, body material, manufacturer year, etc. The more descriptive you are, the better.
  • All posts MUST include an asking price. Posts with no price will be deleted. It also will help if you include whether or not you're willing to negotiate the price (i.e. $400 firm, $400 OBO, etc.)
  • Include where you are located. This will help in calculating shipping costs.
  • Include the methods of payment you are willing to accept. PayPal is the most common, but if you have other methods in mind, clearly state them in your post. If you are selling and find a buyer, please coordinate financial transaction details elsewhere other than your post. For example, you don't want to post your PayPal email address in the sale post for everyone to see. Common sense stuff really.
  • If you have an ad on an external site (Reverb, Craigslist, eBay), you can link it from your post. But be sure to use the [SALE] tag in front of it so everyone knows you're selling.

Disclaimer: The mods of leftyguitarists will not be responsible for any bogus transactions that may occur as a result of buying/selling through this sub. Any agreement you choose to make in regards to buying/selling a guitar here is completely your responsibility. We will not and cannot get involved in problems that might occur as a result of transactions here. In other words, buy/sell at your own risk here.

Thanks & good luck!

New lefty guitars for Fender lovers : Patina guitars

Post image
• Upvotes

Patina Guitars (from the same company as Spira Guitars and Jet Guitars) is launching its lefty lineup, at least in Europe. Based on Stratocaster and Telecaster shapes for the moment, they feature locking tuners, a real bone nut, and a nitro finish (relic or non-relic).

I contacted them about the release of a Jazzmaster-like for left-handed, they answered "lets see".

Source : local seller in my country (France). Available in December.

Quick Question!

I've never actually played a guitar though I have fiddled around with both acoustic and electric before. Both were right guitars and I released that even though I'm a lefty, I gravitate towards playing them right handed. Is that normal?

No new lefty Fenders?

Maybe it’s a slow roll out, maybe I just missed something, but were there no lefties at all in today’s big release?

I’m not even personally in the market at the moment, but it seems wild to me that they’re no longer making an AM Pro Strat or Tele (as far as I can see)

DO NOT BUY THIS

As usual, I did my daily search for left-handed Ormsbys and came across this

I was a bit confused because A) it's cheap as fuck, and B) I had just purchased this exact lefty model and color used a few months ago, and the pictures seemed very familiar

.https://musictoner.shop/products/ormsby-tx-gtr-blue-sparkle-lefty-2540041?variant=50529493516451&country=US&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=24331756723&gbraid=0AAAABEhUas1Awm51Ddc5dbhPIgVww1NCZ&gclid=CjwKCAjwirLWBhBBEiwAlItbEhO8VC8QIMxAycCnZ_bDOKLTZpiBCOo4qcyIlRur7WMA-wW3DxJlTBoCmFIQAvD_BwE

I cross-checked the serial number, and it literally is my guitar.

American Strat available in white finish

Recently have been looking into getting an american strat used or new whichever works for me, but I really want a white finish. I wanted to see if anyone knew what models are available in a white finish so I can broaden my search. I know the Professional series has one in Olympic white but after playing one in person I felt that it was more of a cream color than white. Is the Ultra II really the only lefty model that is in polar/ avalanche white? Its a small thing honestly but if I'm paying those prices I want to be satisfied with the color.

Doing my first lefty conversion an an acoustic. What do I need to do for the saddle on the bridge?

Title. I'm kinda stuck and confused. All I know is I have to somehow get the saddle to flip around, but how can I do that? Thanks in advance

chooms. are there any good 30" baritones out there for us lefties?

title basically says it all. I wanna tune to double drop C, but don't really wanna break the bank (nothing over 600€, preferably) and I really want that ludicrous long scale

Cheapest playable lefthanded electric baritone?

I'm looking at a g4m guitar which seems to be a sort of bass vi, that's pretty cheap (£200, UK). The most affordable good actual baritone seems to be a Danelectro for about £500.

Secondhand there's the Revelation which is basically their stab at a bass vi, for about the same price.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I am in the UK

Beginner guitar

Hey lefty fellas. I want to start playing and I discovered that there are only few budget and beginner friendly guitars which are left oriented. I particularly plan to play metal, rock, but also want some versatility.

I found Ibanez Gio GRX70QAL with its HSH coils be a good fit, but also Yamaha Pacifica 112V (left) and Epiphone SQ tribute be a community praised guitars.

Basically I have two question for you:
1)I have never touched any instrument in my life, starting from scratch, does pickup type really matters for a person like me or am i over focusing on it?

2) Are listed guitars above any good for a beginner? Do you have any guitar in mind that would fit well?

Thank you!
