I recently completed this commission of a bifold made from American alligator and chèvre. It’s fully lined with 8 pockets and a cash flap.

I recently finished this handmade passport wallet, featuring Haas Epsom leather in Vert on the exterior and Alran Sully chèvre in Chocolate for the interior, paired with contrasting orange stitching.

The wallet has two passport compartments and four card slots, with a spacious and comfortable layout.

The entire wallet is hand-stitched using the traditional saddle stitch technique, with 0.45 mm Meisi linen thread and a 4 mm stitch spacing.

It’s been a long time since I last worked with Epsom leather. Although I personally prefer chèvre, I have to admit that Epsom is also a beautiful and durable choice.

Which do you prefer for leather goods: Epsom calfskin or chèvre goatskin? Feel free to share your thoughts!

These Tilapia skin key loops are lined with calfskin and reinforced for longevity using Salpa, a bonded leather reinforcement sandwiched in between both leathers to add rigidity and strength.

I named this the Tidal Key loop because of how it reminded me of all the tropical fish I saw while visiting the coasts in Mexico, growing up. As the tide came in, I'd watch hundreds of colorful fish swarm the shore line and coral to find food, their colors and shiny scales contrasting to the white sand made them stick out and turned it into a vivid memory. These glistening key loops give me the same feeling and are sure to stand out in the sea of things, making sure your keys are easy to spot and always on hand.

Hello! I love my journal cover and and would buy more from the brand but I rather support a leather artisan from the community. It’s a simple 8.25 in x 12 in rectangle with a thickness of 0.2 cm, I’ve attached a link with pictures below for a reference of measurements.

Hey everyone,

I’m a solo leathercrafter based in Brisbane, Australia. I’ve been making a few more traditional bifolds lately, and I definitely decided to make this one on the bolder side.

The exterior is a marbled red shell cordovan called Apollo from Shinki Hikaku in Japan. It's been hand dyed in strokes so that the colour appears to shift a bit depending on the light, moving from a deeper crimson to a much brighter red, with the dense surface and sleek finish that Shinki shell cordovan is known for. It has an interesting quality that makes it look unique in every photo.

For the interior I used a dark burgundy calfskin from Guidi Rosellini in Tuscany. I wanted something that would complement the red without making the whole wallet too bright, so I felt the darker burgundy can help ground it a bit while still having that exterior pop! Plus, the leather itself is gains character quickly, as it's soft and dense and doesn't have much of a finish on it.

The layout is a classic traditional bifold with six card slots, two hidden pockets behind the card panels, and a full-length cash slot. It comfortably holds around 10–12 cards plus cash, with a little more room developing once the leather breaks in.

Everything is hand-cut, saddle-stitched, heat creased, bevelled, and burnished. I used Xiange thread in Bordeaux to tie the exterior and interior together.

I have an axe that I smithed a few months ago. I would like to take it to a Renn Faire, but they require sheaths on all blades. Would someone be able to make a sheath for me?
